No lie no lie no lie e i
In the very first sentence dev lists some quality and well known apps in the field and claims to blow them out the water which made me giggle and download. after 5 minutes of use its blatantly obvious dev has not 1, not 2, but 10 toes in when standing on business
Hear me out
Ignore most of the 1-star bad reviews. The majority of those individuals are just browsing the App Store downloading things without ever reading.
I got the app early while it was free, and although it did have some bugs, the developer has made fixes, which I'm very grateful for.
The power of this app really lies in its simplicity, especially if you just want to go and bring your own key to do a voice recording on your phone and then quickly have it transcribed with this app using either some decent provided prompts or custom-defined prompts.
There are some features that I would love, although I do appreciate the minimalistic design and simplicity.
As someone who uses Obsidian, I would like to see some type of integration, or even with Logseq.
To make things even easier, since a deeper integration like that might be complex, I would like to see integrations with Shortcuts at the very least, so you can take Actions For Obsidian, which is an app to run automations.
I would add that new models are now out and supporting the other major ones would be essential in the future.

Free app but need a payment
This was published as a free app on the app store but is just a trial and the developer demands a payment outside of the app store to make it work. Very sketchy.
Response from developer
As per Apple if you're seeing an app under free it is free to download only. It is upto the developer if it is whether free forever, free trial etc. Regarding payments outside of appstore it is allowed to do it as long as developer is not showing a direct link in the app. Having said that we're already working in-app payments that will be out where you can buy directly from the app.
I am sorry, but you need to mention that OPENAI key is needed
Huge letters should be in description of the App that OPEN AI key is needed for the app to work
Response from developer
It is in promotional text right below the screenshots. I've rewritten it in CAPS. Thanks for your feedback.
Waiting for this for a long time
It’s been a dream of mine to be able to record voice messages on the go with my Apple Watch and get the text from those audio notes in a form that is convenient to share to when I store notes.
For this purpose, I have Apple Voice memos as one of the primary complications on my Apple Watch so that I can always capture ideas quickly. But it’s a pain to get those voice memos into text form. With audio writer, I can do that now since Audio Writer can pull in memos from Apple Voice recordings.
In addition, of course, you can record your voice directly into Audio Writer from your iPhone and from Mac desktop. After you have captured your ideas, you can choose the output for the Ai writer, anything from list as bullet points to write this up as a formal or casual email.
This is a killer app for me. Really appreciate you bringing this to the world!
