No rip-off
If one thing could be changed at my request, it would be to allow (on this platform) other AU modulators and sources to be used in the effects-loop interoperability these Moogerfoogers offer with other Moogerfoogers. If the limits of the mobile platform allow it, that would fully capture the amazing connective possibilities the pedals brought to the world of stomps. Yes, these can be used like other AU apps in series, but effects-loop access takes the idea further. That these apps can interoperate this way is a very good thing, all the same.
I mourn the recent passing of Moog as we knew it, falling into the maw of corporate greed with effects already showing in ways the employee-shareholders had not anticipated. One hopes the core people - including the outstanding software minidepartment - can stay in place and hold intact the quality-level tradition of the company.
However that goes, this line of apps has turned out very well indeed.
I think I’ve been ripped off
If these can’t be used while playing, then I want my money back. I am no producer, or “sound designer” as they call them lately as if they’re the equivalent to an engineer at a nuclear reactor station. Not my thing. Musicians do nothing but tear each other down anyways, so I’m not interested in being part of the world of production

Hi Doc Ice, We're sorry to hear that you're having problems activating the plugins in GarageBand. Please contact us at appsupport@moogmusic.com so that we can track down what's happening and help you. The Moogerfoogers can totally be used while playing, provided you use them in a host or DAW. Additionally they can also be used as production effects if that's what you want. If you do feel you want to be reimbursed, please do so through the Apple App Store as we have no control over the purchase or refund process. ❤️ your friends at Moog
