  • PVP side needs improvement

I love the rpg side of it, and building is fun, and diamonds, and other materials aren’t hard to get. The problem comes in with the PVP side of it. It’s no fun being a farm for higher level players, and there is no gap in time that they can attack you. So basically they attack and farm your base as much as they want. There also needs to some kind of penalty for higher level players attacking lower level players. Like a game a played before higher level players got a huge penalty for attacking lower level players, and there was a time limit or cool down period of 24 hours after getting attacked. There needs to be a system in place because it’s annoying being constantly attacked by higher level players because they take advantage of lower level players.

  • Classic pay to win

Game was fantastic at the beginning. Enjoyed the heroes and how to upgrade their gear and skills. It was fun evolving the village as well but things got old with the amount of time it took to gather resources for higher level upgrades as well as the grinding to level up heroes once you passed the beginner stage. Once you’re past the beginner stage you clearly have to pay to have an advantage at the game vs other players. Guild vs guild events were won by buying diamonds and the higher level players keep attacking lower level guilds or subguilds despite alliances. All this took the fun away right away. It’s crazy that there isn’t a good game where you don’t have to spend money to have fun

  • Gave up

Was fun for a bit. My characters losing levels after being attacked really made me lose interest an delete the game.
  • Top Paywall

This game was super fun to start but becomes a grind within one week. The grind comes to a screeching halt at this point and it is almost impossible to continue without spending money, which would be typically fine with a game like this, but the packs that get anything done cost anywhere between $15-30 and they don’t really even help much.
I started with enjoying this game for about an hour a day and now I’m stuck with maybe 5 minutes a day of just collecting my timed resources, hoping to be able to break past whatever roadblock there is. Turns out it’s the paywall and I’m not going to be dropping $15 every time I need to do something that would otherwise take a week to accomplish.

  • Wast of time and Money.

Ya I paid money. And if my heroes didn’t lose a level and resources every time some stranger with more money trampled up and down my town I’d keep playing and probably paying more money. But it’s not worth it. Because as you know, the higher the level, the less resources you get. So when your saving up for the huge castle upgrade and you log in to see all your resources gone and your heroes -10 levels. It should make anyone stop wanting to pay and play this game. Soo close to being a 5 star game though.

  • Best city builder I have found

This city builder really encourages fighting and makes it so when you do get attacked, you barely lose anything. It’s awesome. The whales can’t hurt the f2p too much and if you do spend they have permanent upgrades that give very good return for your $$$. Discord community is really cool too. 10/10 recommend.

  • A mess

These people are money hungry but are super unskilled devs who have produced a bottom tier game from a genre that is easily copy and pasted well, any game of this genre is done better than this and it’s missing so many components that make UX good. They make fake adverts which is a red flag, it’s unfortunate because if the devs were good at their jobs, this game would be worth even the fake ads, but they’re not. Even if you pay, the vip is useless and there is no way to level up faster and there is RAMPANT bullying in the game on many servers with losers who take it too seriously and will spam attack you from bigger, more powerful guilds. I was so sick of this behaviour that I left for a newer server (the old server also had racist homophobes but you can’t even report these people cos there’s no report button). When I moved server, some kid threatened me because I declined his offer to give him my top guild people. Too many losers without real lives play this game and ruin it for others. If you don’t magically power up fast, you will stand no chance against big bully guilds and kids with too much time on their hands and their parents credit cards. On top of this, the glitches are unreal, you will die within seconds bc it freezes and you get attacked in campaign mode. They unfairly power scale between servers (first server I was on I was able to power up fast but the one I moved to, I’m twice as behind as I was at the same character level). Play a better game than this.

  • Fun at the start, needs new content

Hi there, I’ve been playing maybe a week to two weeks and am already through exploration. Other than building upgrades, this seems to be where a lot of resources and diamonds come from. I know we can farm bosses, but that gets boring after a while.

**Is there any way you can add more content like exploration to keep things fun (for solo time)? Leveling really slows down after this too, which makes it hard to compete with pay to play consumers (and lowers your consumer retention).**

Another idea would be a trading system between players. Other players have agreed this would be a good addition.

  • Excellence

Best mobile game Ive played. I was so fed up with games being nothing like the ads but this one managed to blow all my expectations away. It feels like a real mmorpg with all the fantasy details and features. Imagine if Raid Shadow legends had zero ads, didnt spam you with BUY THIS BUY THIS, had a live PvP environment, guilds actually mean something, a PvE world that is exciting to explore, and can easily progress to the top of the leaderboards without spending a single dollar in-game. Thats just scratching the surface. I'll admit I was a little overwhelmed at the start due to all of the features, but its really easy to stay on track just but doing whatever the guide suggests. I really cant get enough of this game, its the only time Ive ever experienced a mobile game with devs that want to make an actual good game, not to squeeze out as much profit as possible.

    Cheers

  • More money hungry than most, and even more grind heavy

The core adventure game is reasonably interesting, though not especially deep. And that’s where the positives end. There are hundreds of way to spend hundreds of dollars each week if you want to make progress without hours and hours of grinding, which is normal for this genre of ‘game’. What isn’t normal is how punishing getting ganked in PvP is.

In a game that is about collecting vast sums of resources for the next 5 levels for each of 6 heroes, what’s the worst possible thing a developer could do to you when you lose a fight? Is it take all your banked resources away? Nope, that’s what all the other games in the genre do, and while that’s annoying and arbitrary it’s something you can play around.

No the unforgivable sin this money-hungry developer has made is to downlevel all your heroes whenever you lose a fight. Costing you days or weeks of progress an time one of their depressed whales decides to look at you funny.

When I learned this was intentional instead of a bug, it was an instant uninstall.

Don’t play this game. It will pull you in and then waste your time in the more egregious, unfun ways imaginable
