The new update is upsetting
I liked it before where I was able to play offline anywhere I’m going, I’m now uncomfortable with buying another game from you.
To play semi offline, you need to start the game and make sure to connect it, after that the game should still be connected ready to play anywhere you go, if you haven’t closed the app or if it hasn’t refreshed itself.

PERFECT (M2 11 INCH)
I only got through the demo so far but am def def gonna buy this is incredible man and I have been a resi fan for years tbh THANK YOU CAPCOM FOR BRINGING THIS MASTERPIECE TO MOBILE I’m more impressed than I thought I would be. and 60FPS ON HIGH SETTINGS CAPCOM TY (UPDATE:I got the full game and I’ve just got past Donna and I can’t wait to get further into the story well done capcom and btw I am def def getting the dlc -i forgot the name- but yeah capcom this is a masterpiece) TRTR999 out see ya later

Really impressive
Updated review: After implementing forceful internet connection to launch Single player game I changed my rating to 1* and game is deleted.
I'm playing on pro Max and game looks beautiful and run good. I have pretty small hands to, so I did full touch controller customisation, resizing and made opacity what's suitable for me. It works good. If you don't have massive hands you can definitely play like that. Game need some performance patch for higher settings on iPhone. Otherwise thanks for this opportunity to play AAA games on the go. I was dreaming about this day already years. Phones are powerful enough and hopefully different games are coming out to.

Requires connection after update
Worst scam ever. After the update you can no longer log in without a connection (ie, if you are in a flight without connection, the game will not allow you to run). Avoid supporting companies with this kind of dodgy scheme.
New Update Requires Internet To Play…
A bought this game to play on flights but the new update doesn’t allow this. Rather just play on my Steam Deck…
Progress does not sync to iCloud
This has been an issue now for a while. Can’t upload my save file to iCloud. It is a huge bummer. Because of that I can’t sync progress between my iPad and iPhone Update: It’s been months and this issue still hasn’t been fixed.
Update: Not only is this issue still not resolved, Capcom updated the game to require an internet connection for launching the game. Now I cannot play it while on a plane or when my wifi or cellular are spotty. I did not sign up for that when purchasing the game.

Almost bought the full game and more, … almost!
Have not played 3D games for ages. So, after upgrading from my 2018 iPad Pro to an M4, I thought I should see what it can do. I had a flight coming up, which was perfect to test what mobile gaming on the iPad looks like these days.
I made sure to complete the initial required download and checked it started without internet connection before travelling.
Time for my flight. I was really impressed and enjoyed it. After another evening of playing and completing the free part of the game, I started looking for good game controller and was ready to purchase the rest of the game.
I headed back to the AppStore to see how I purchase the rest of the game. Oh, what is this?! An update 17h ago: "Due to changes to the startup process, an internet connection is now required when starting this app."
What a disappointment, to put it mildly! I have a very capable mobile device, I am travelling, I may not have internet all the time, especially when on the plane.
I was really looking forward to playing the rest of the game, but I won’t be spending money on something that isn’t going to work [offline].

Updated to force online connection
Bought the game when it released. And just recently the game has been updated to force online connection to play. Unfortunately my phone automatically updates apps so I can’t play this game offline anymore.

Easily takes the cake, running on M1 iPad Pro with all settings maxed out and getting solid 30 - 40 fps ish ( best i can tell by eye) its very smooth, finally something that puts the M1 to use on iPad. Very impressive, I’ve seen other console ports look pretty lacklustre compared to this
