It’s RE8.
It’s a great port to mobile. Am I mad that I’m not getting to play this at 8k 240fps? No. I couldn’t do that on my pc anyways. But I am on my 3rd play through on my iPad so far and this game is amazing. Yes it has some bugs but to be able to actually play re8 and not rely on a cloud service I can deal with the bugs. If you’re a resident evil fan I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get this. For the people complaining about having to buy the game after you download. REALLY? Why is that a problem? I would kill if every game that came out gave me the chance to play it before actually buying it. Stop complaining and get this now.

Expectations not met
I was really excited about giving this game a try. But the overall design of the controls is awful. My phone is not a console, and the controls are just unusable. It made it nearly impossible to play. there’s a reason I don’t play console games, it’s because of these controllers. Cannot stand them. and to see this on a phone is just ridiculous and terrible decision-making on the part of the team. I literally uninstalled the game about 15 minutes after I started playing it.

I don’t think some people are seeing the big picture.
The fact this is on a phone is a milestone in gaming! First, on the main page it recommends to use a controller. I use a backbone and it works and runs perfect. I do not plan on using touch controls. Second, graphics are adjustable and on certain settings can make you stop and look around. The phone for me at the settings I run does not over heat and if I max out the graphics I would expect it too. PCs and consoles have fans and they still get hot and run loud. Why wouldn't a phone with no fans? Yes, there are some glitches and some voice sync issues but nothing game breaking on my end and I am sure there will be updates and fixes. For the first at bat Capcom great job! I will show my support for the hard work that went into this. Already purchased and will be buying RE4.

Doesn’t work
Downloaded the game and it won’t download the large download it says it has to download before I can play the game. Won’t download it. 15 pro max 1tb, latest iOS. So far, completely useless.
Running smooth on 120 fps
I am really excited not particularly about game but for the future of mobile gaming. iPad pro m1 can easily run on 120fps mode with full hd resolution. And upcoming m3 iPads will be much powerful.
Well…
It’s functional but bad first I choose from all the presets to just see the range of what the 15 pro max can do and honestly they didn’t look at that different balance and performance were basically the same, plus the game froze on the screen although I could hear myself moving and opening menus and it force closed on me once, honestly if you wanna play around then go ahead since it’s free up to a point but don’t buy the full thing. If I didn’t already have a console to play it on I’d rather go buy a new one over playing it like this

Perfect Port
Just finished the Castle portion of the game (several hours in) on my m2 iPad Pro, and the game looks and runs amazingly well. Absolutely no complaints regarding visuals, gameplay, and performance. My only complaint is that I can’t play it on the TV (either as external display or mirrored) while taking advantage of the full screen real estate. Would be really great if a display resolution setting was available that matched the external display dimensions rather than just the oddly narrow iPad display to make playing on a larger screen more appealing.
Here’s hoping more developers release iOS games of this caliber.
Pro Tip: Keep the iPad plugged in directly (not through the Magic Keyboard) while playing or you’ll be draining battery life pretty quickly.

Honest review (iPhone 15 pro max)
All settings don't matter you'll get around 30-45 fps with constant dips on lowest settings why even give us a 120fps option if the system cant run at 60 raising the graphics only lowers your frame rate maybe the game will get patched to run more smoothly at 60 then it'll be a great experience.
Only good thing to come from this is the thought that a-lot of other games from publishers put their old less graphically intense games like Skyrim and tem-tem onto the apple store
The fact that this game can run at 30 fps kinda is good hope for other games less powerful to run at 60fps (which should be the standard fps instead of 30)
Would love to see all the mega man legacy collection games come to Apple

W game
this game is good but don’t play this on touch screen bc you can’t really aim and the phone get really hot so i would recommend a controller if you want a smooth and reliable option but this game is overall pretty good is well made and the graphics and gameplay is super good i will definitely recommend this game to anyone without a pc. hope this help

I'm impressed
Looks good, runs smooth, no complaints about file size or price. The phone gets a little warm, about like when it's charging, but that's hard to avoid considering how hard the phone chip is working. There is a minor delay with dialogue in cut scenes, but that's a small issue. Overall I'm impressed and hope to have more titles like this in the near future.
