  • So much potential..

This game is very very good, and it's perfect to kill time or even just to play while you're doing something. However, it can be infuriating when you have the perfect game, it's finally gotten fun, and the game freezes, and then crashes, resetting your run progress and disallowing you to continue. This happens often, and at very inopportune times. This wouldn't be a problem if it was every 10 runs, or even every 5, however it nearly happens every other run on mine and other peoples phones. This combined with the fact that there is absolutely no autosave, or any functional autosave, makes a fragile and paranoia filled experience that is fun, but unintentionally very short lasting and in the end enraging when all your progress is deleted when the game just says "Oops! We lost it, sorry!".
  • Literally a masterpiece

I’ve personally never taken the time to rate a mobile game, or computer game before, much less leave a review. This game is that good, so if you’re reading this thinking if you should download it, do it! I absolutely adore the gameplay, and I’ve been playing it for around a year now. Around since launch, a bit after though, changed my perspective on the new mobile games. It’s compact, but it’s got so much to explore and experience. Just amazing.
  • One of my favorite games

I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the top-middle of the screen is covered by my front-facing camera. Not able to see my currency when upgrading my town hall. It also blocks the current class during gameplay and more.
  • Ruined by forced ads

Could be great. No tutorial, and you have to figure a lot out on your own, but I don’t mind that.
Parts of the UI overlap, seem too zoomed in, so you can’t see some stuff. That’s a pretty big problem. A lot of text and even buttons are covered up and can’t be read.
But…worst of all, there’s just no excuse for forced ads.
I had high hopes, and really wanted to like this game. Could be one of the rare gems if not for the UI and forced ads.
  • Check this one out

If you’ve stumbled across this gem, download it and enjoy. The developer is amazing and responsive. The community is lively and helpful. The gameplay is addicting and creative. While it is RNG based, that’s what makes it fun- especially if you’re determined. Plenty of secrets, achievements and unlockables.
  • 1.0 Made the game feel much worse, Yikes.

The random elemental dmg/resist enchants, the changes to armor penetration, the increase in cooldown time for a lot of talents and the changed to xp gain culminate in a much worse experience than before. There were a lot of cool concepts with 1.0 and the monk class is a cool idea even though it feels half finished, but man does it feel like a kick in the teeth when every random stat roll i find is resist% for an elemental stat enemy im not worried about. I want to love the game and give it 5* but it feels so much worse to play now.
  • best roguelike

when i saw that this game had updated i couldn’t believe it. this is by far one of my favorite games, and the fact that there isnt much handholding in the beginning only peaks my interest even more. i love learning how to play these kinds of games, it only feels MORE fulfilling when you survive till the end when earlier you only barely found out how to upgrade perks. i will say this though: i have found that some classes are simply too overpowered when pitted against the others. take the priest and necromancer classes for example. their insane attack power and survivability levels are way too high when compared to the ranger or warlord classes. they both have high level healing abilities you can cast on a whim, and the barrage spell of the necromancer and the smite spell of the priest are simply amazing. ive found myself taking one or two healing spells with me no matter what class i am, because healing for 300% weapon damage on a warrior class is the most op thing in this game. while there may be other spells and perks that give automatic healing, any mage type will always feel like the best class if you ask me.
  • A wonderful game

In depth secrets, achievements, items, classes, play styles, and overall design. Resources are easy to understand and use and the overall gameplay isn’t hard to grasp while also having the ability to critically challenge how you want to build your character. Can’t wait for the developer to make mare games.
  • Great game, but a few flaws.

There are many other positive reviews singing the same praises that I have for this game so I’ll get straight to the point. There are some flaws that mainly have to do with the meta progression of the game, the talents you unlock have the ability to be toggled on or off, however they appear in all my runs once I unlock them no matter what, which would be a fair thing to happen if the ability to toggle them wasn’t an option. And then there is the “bigger vials” upgrade in town that increases potion duration, I have gotten that to level three and the duration of all potions has remained the same, three turns. Finally there’s the tutorial for the game, or lackthereof. At the beginning of every run the game simply tells you what is the attack button, which is one of the only things that is actually obvious about the UI. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING else goes unexplained. In fact there is an entire in game mechanic where you can get bonus resources by looking at the background for barely-visible spots that you must tap on. I only found out about this very useful thing after maybe thirty or more half an hour long runs of the game. All of this and more minor issues are all very infuriating. I do realize of course this is yet to be a 1.0 release so please developers, if you see this review, make these fixes for both current and future players enjoyment.
  • Very good potential

This is an awesome rogue like and it’s executed really well, that being said I think there are several balance issues that need to be addressed. Some classes like mage or rogue way overshadow those like ranger or pole arm to the point they aren't worth playing whatsoever. I also think the game needs more content or things to do (how those are executed are to debate). Either way I’m excited to see this game grow and hope that it doesn’t die
