For use with the phone only not iPad
It lost one star due to no option for iPad. Aside from that, the app is easier to navigate than previous versions and remembers settings now. The way I use it requires the camera to be on an extension cord and inverted. The earlier version of this app required that I invert the image every single time I opened it, and adjust from metric to imperial measurements, as well as a few other personal preference tweaks. Now it’s a plug and play that allows for much faster use. I have not been able to make use of a lot of the features due to lack of time to play with them, so an extensive pdf manual with examples would be nice. My first time with this app was not easy in the least due to the learning curve and lack of direct access to a detailed manual. Thankfully, there are several forums that filled in for that, and I was able to learn relatively quickly. I use this app for HVAC and other construction projects to check for heat loss and leakage from a distance rather than having to be right next to the potential issue in question, and it has sped my work up significantly. “Seeing” hot spots in a ceiling or cold jets from ducts in an attic has made my job much easier. Learning to adjust and fine tune was not easy. That missing manual would have really helped.

Nice features, just want a small adjustment
The app has all the features I need: exporting excel temperature data, taking a burst of images every couple of seconds (adjustable from 1 to 3 seconds), setting automatic calibration, custom ambient temperature and emissivity corrections.
My primary ask (thus 4 stars) is this: allow a larger number of images in a burst (max is 10). My application requires at minimum 20 images in a burst with a 3 sec interval. It’s awesome this feature exists at all! A maximum of say, 80 images would be great.
Also, because I need so many images it would be convenient to do a bulk export of temperature data for a set of selected images.
It is great that the file name for the excel data has date and time.

Readability
Like other comments, the font is so small and defaults to white every time I use it. Trying to see tiny white digits on a bright yellow background is almost impossible
Rubbish
Doesn’t work just sits on the plug camera in part
Expensive product seemed nice but doesn’t work
Tried everything just doesn’t work
Unsupported
The app doesn’t support the TC001 on the iPhone 15 pro, needs to be updated to include support as the phone is USB-C now.
Good app, hard to read
Good functionality, but they made the font colour the same as the hot colour which is white, so it’s almost impossible to read temperature readings of very hot surfaces. Font should be black or grey even.
Camera not detected on iPhone 15
I have the USB-c camera which works fine on my Samsung tablet. When I go to my iPhone 15 which also has USB-c, the app sits there asking me to plug in the already connected camera
So far so good
Been working well on my iphone 15 pro however the numbers are too small to read for visual impaired individuals. Pls add large bold fonts and numbers in the coming updates, thank you.
Does not work iPhone usb-c
TcView thermal camera does not work with iPhone usb-c port, disappointing, hopefully this can be resolved, as previously ratings suggest as well
