Best geocaching app out there
When I switched to iPhone I was turning into a hardcore geocacher. I had just reached 100 finds and wanted to expand my horizons to new geocaching apps. I asked around in an online Geocaching group and this app was recommended to me multiple times. I was ready to fully switch over but the only thing holding me back were how caches are represented by pins instead of the icons I was used to (I quickly got used to the pins and now I can’t go back).
Once I fully got used to Cachly, I realized everything I wanted from the Geocaching app was part of this app (better trail maps, dark mode, ability to see other nearby caches when you are navigating to a cache, etc.). That day was when I deleted the stock Geocaching app from my phone.
It is now easier (and more fun) to go caching because I can easily navigate to caches, log caches (and write much longer logs thanks to a better logging interface), manage trackables, and way more.
Although I haven’t used it much, the Apple Watch support will really help me in the future when I go kayaking, extreme tree climbing, or other activities when I don’t want to bring my phone with me.
I really appreciate this app and have been recommending it to everyone I know (recently my cousin downloaded it and he loves it as well, so you may be getting another glowing review soon). Thanks Nic for all the effort you put into Cachly.Show lesss.500

Limits geocaches
So. I buy this app for 8 bucks, thinking it will assist. I buy the app, and a free member who buys the app can only find 3 geocaches per day. The regular app lets me see more than this. I guess if you buy cachly and geocaching premium it’s good. But don’t buy this without buying any sort of premium. Please let me see what I can on the regular app without having to spend more money here.Show lessEJBgreen123

Currently we are limited by the geocaching.com API in what is shown to Regular users. We hope in the future Geocaching HQ will expand this. It really is out of Cachly's hands at the moment.Lived it, but …
I use this app a lot and love it, but today when I search at a nearby location it shows most caches but only the base locations of an Adventure Lab series. It used to show every site of that Lab but no longer? That was, for me, one of the most useful features - why does it seem to have vanished????

I was introduced to Cachly around 10 years ago and I must admit I did find it a little overwhelming at the time as it had so many features. Overtime I came to learn more and more of the functionality within the app and it just keeps getting better and better. Since the recent advent of an annual subscription I was a little weary as I had paid for the app in the first place, but when you consider what you get and average that cost on a weekly basis. It’s a very efficient and valuable tool and the new features are equally awesome. As such, I now fully support the new subscription service as this is clearly allowing for even more features and the online support is second to none.Show lessRocky the cat
The best geocaching app
Fantastic app with so many additional features compared to other apps. A developer that is constantly listening and updating and responds to questions personally.
My favourite features are the highlighted colours, the radius circles, the FTF markers but there are also so many more. Many thanks. 5 stars but worth more if I could give them.Show lessAllnameshavegone

Sheer Excellence in an iPhone App
Geocaching using Cachly is so effortless. The capabilities for filtering, navigation, off-line use and other amazing features are peerless. I use it everyday to quickly identify geocaches to seek and navigate to them using Apple Maps and CarPlay. Then"FTF" flag is essential to being a successful hound. Great App for iPhones.
I’ve been using Cachly for the past umpteen years years. We’ve both been active geocachers for 14 years. I’ve used a few different apps during the time but nothing compares to Cachly. My other half used to use a Garmin GPS and ( occasionally) the Official Geocaching app) but converted to Cachly about two years ago. The Geocaching app is never used now.
Cachly is simply the best Geocaching app for so many, many reasons. It is such a useful tool.
The Facebook community is just THE best place to get quick help from others who actually use Cachly and to be in direct contact with a hard-working developer. Someone always there to help with questions and problems.
In our opinion, the small yearly fee for the Cachly Pro version is worth every penny!!Show lessBoodleypops
The best geocache app
This app has so much more functionality than the official one. I love that I can drop a pin anywhere and get coordinates. One favourite feature is the ability to see my own log as well as my friends’ logs when determining what caches we want to go for. I love that I can highlight caches with any tag I want to make them. Now that the map scrolls as you move, it’s even better. I can’t wait for CarPlay functionality which should be out soon.Show lesscccjjj
