Checking in/buddy pass is annoying

This used to be a smooth transition. I bounce back and forth between gyms. The app should automatically check you into the correct one upon entry by location but you have to manually go into the app and change the location so that the buddy pass works. It’s a nuisance , especially when you’re limited on time.

Please fix the app to where it automatically checks you into the location that you’re at when it scans.

Why fix what wasn’t broken

Can’t go to the gym without having this app now, any guests are forced to have it too. Can’t use the app without uploading a picture of your face, can’t change said picture unless you’re physically at the gym (so you can’t turn off location permissions either). They also want to tout how convenient the app is but give you no option to change your payment method on the app, you’re redirected to the clunky website or told to ask an employee-who will do everything they can to keep you from using a credit card. And let’s face it, it’s a gym, whichever third party they contracted for this app is surely not keeping data security in mind. Going to cancel my membership over this most likely

Love the new app. Tons of improvement

A huge step up from the legacy Chuze app. I love the look and feel of the new app. I often find myself looking at the busy meter before heading to the gym.

No problems for me

I guess I’m lucky to not experience any problems or glitches so far. I got the new app when I first signed up before previous members were asked to switch. I’m able to sign up for classes and reserve hydromassage and zero gravity without a problem. I like the new feature that makes your attendance to a class like a full green ticket. It’s really visible to show instructor from across the room. The Birdcage location is amazing! The staff greeting at the front early in the morning are super friendly and welcoming. The instructors push me past my limits which I appreciate, especially Marcy! I’m so happy with my membership so far.

Hate it

I never write reviews but I hate the fact that we have to use this app. I hate apps and seriously now we have to have this app for a “buddy” pass? I could bring in whoever I want but now my guest has to come and have their ID checked? So intrusive. You can’t even log in half the time. I might just downgrade because I hate it so much.

Not a good app update

As other reviewers have described, the new app is slow and clunky and tries way too hard to cram graphics in instead of actual useful and accessible information like future class schedules. The older app functioned beautifully and maybe needed a few tweaks, but this new version is awful and needs a lot of work to equal the older one. The gym and instructors are still excellent, just the new app that falls flat. Please improve.

It’s got glitches

It seems great but I’ve noticed that the app doesn’t work when everyone is jumping on to sign up for evening classes. This didn’t happen before but with this new app being used more and more I can see this being an issue. I tried to open the app to sign up for a class and it wouldn’t load correctly. Finally when it did the class was already full.

Too clunky.

Another example of something that wasn’t broken being “fixed” and now it’s crap. Opening screen is too busy and makes it hard to get what you want/need.

I have to make three or four screen jumps to find classes at 2 different gyms.

The design is clunky and not at all streamlined for ease.

Old app is better, chuze don’t do this!

The change to a new app is not helpful. Layout and design is cluttered, and missing features from the old app. And still no compatibility with iPad! The password and account login all had to be migrated manually with no secure auto generated password capability.

The idea of reserving amenities in the app is great, but other than that it’s clunkier and worse. Why bother to go through with this? And even if you did, why a completely different app?

Flashing

When I go into the app it starts to flash as it’s loading on to the screen but I can still use but it’s flashing. It’s annoying and I don’t know how to fix it.
