BOO!
Why am I paying a yearly subscription and Iโm still getting advertisements? I subscribed last year to avoid that and now theyโre back? If youโre going to force annoying advertisements on me, please give me my money back for the 2025 subscription you lot took from my account.

One ad from constant ad in the bottom mode takes control of your sound and cancels music thatโs in the background which is really annoying

I use royalroad every day, it my only reading app and website but right now it an absolute nightmareโฆ
I love to listen to music while reading, yet recently i just canโt. Ads, that i donโt even see the content of because it all black, overrides my music.

I donโt mind supporting royal road. I like the site! But until they fix this or add an option to completely mute the app it unusable with music.
I would really prefer is i could get the website ada instead. They are generally from other and actually useful to find new interesting books. If the devs could add those in I wouldnโt even mind them in the middle of my chapter.
Pls fix, I want to use the app over the website on my phone.

My first review of an app ever.
I'm very invested into Litrpg stories, so when I found out a lot of them started out on RR I got intrigued. So far it's been a great experience. The UI is great, there are tons of stories to choose from, and the ads... 99% of the banner ads I've seen are for stories made by users on the app. On top of that, the app gives you choices on how you want to view the ads which, is honestly very refreshing in a time where ads are shoved down your throat on every other app. Overall, great app. Supporting real, and upcoming authors while also finding new stories to enjoy is a great experience. I would highly recommend this app.

Why would I use this over the web. This app provides not benefits and has adds that stop you reading why you are forced to watch rubbish
Awesome with a few annoyances
First off, I would like to say that I have been using this app since it was released, and I have been very pleased with it. One grievance I have stem from the random deletion of my downloaded books which has screwed me on flights. The only other thing that has been bothering since starting to use this app that actually got me to make this review is that whenever I open up the search bar with the little spyglass in the top right it always opens the advanced search page. I just want to search the name of a book and not fill in all this random stuff. I understand that I can just close it, but itโs still annoying. Overall very pleased that this app now exists.

Super good app, I love the website and itโs even better here with how many features it offers.
The one thing thatโs amazing is you can customize how you get adโs which is fine and im okay as long as it supports the app and creators
the one thing thatโs annoying is when you put the app in dark mode, THE ADโS ARNโT, so every time Iโm binge reading at 12 or 2am, itโs like a flash bang, even the more subtle ones is like driving on the road and a car with its LED high beams comes towards you, I can still drive but my god my eyes are bleeding.

Good site, good app, annoying ads
Downloaded the app because the mobile site is sometimes slow on poor connections
The app requires you to either have constant banner ads or multiple full screen ads every few chapters. Some of the ads are particularly obnoxious and send you to the App Store when closed, or have non-functional skip buttons
