Excellent app and customer service
I have been using FirstYear for the past four months, and I love it! I tried several other apps when my child was first born, but none of them included as much information and were as easy to use as FirstYear. Having all of the data at doctor appointments (especially the charting to see daily and weekly trends) was essential when my daughter was a newborn and we were trying to get breastfeeding established. It is also very helpful to be able to enter questions as I think of them and have them handy at my next appointment.
Additionally, FirstYear has excellent customer service! I recently ran into a problem with family sharing, and when I contacted them for support my email was answered immediately (even though it was a holiday weekend) with a solution to my problem.

Looks intimidating, but is really easy to use!
I've had the app sitting on my devices waiting for the arrival of our little one, and finally had the chance to start using it this week.
Although this app looks really intimidating because it has lots of reporting options, it is very easy to use. Simply pick the activity you want to log, fill in a few other details and tap the check mark. Love the sync via Dropbox option as both my wife and I are logging things.

Annoying
Timer kept being wrong for feeding & difficult to correct. Feels excessive & obsessive to record daily & did not purchase add on. Just getting the hang of the app when free space is full & I think it's not worth paying for.Sari_travel

For a first time mum (of a 6 week old), I LOVE this app. The free trial period was of a decent enough length to work out how to use the program, so I promptly upgraded to the paid version (well done developers... If it had only been a day or so I would never have worked it out enough to want to purchase). Very easy to use & even the iPad-loving midwife was impressed!Show lessKezzaadl
Keeps you on track when your head isn't!
For those first few weeks it really helps you with the nursing and sleep record. It's hard to remember what happened in the wee small hours, through sleep deprivation and repetition. Doubt I'll use it for the full year, but wish I'd had this for my first baby.Bubblimama

Lots of features but too busy
The app has a lot of good features but the layout is soo busy it becomes complicated to use or to find where to access those features. After one week of juggling the app and the newborn, I switched to an easier app which provided easy access to a lot of the same tracking features.swatterut
