Detailed yet simple
I completely love this app! I never ever pay for any apps, and I appreciate the way the developers set this up to allow for a full experience before I decide whether or not to invest any dollars. I love that there are tons of features and options of details to track, but that it's completely up to the parent or caregiver which to use. The optional alarms for next scheduled feeding, diaper change or anticipated sleep event are great. I think this would probably be a really helpful app for those who provide in home daycare services.
**please add the ability to indicate that I am pumping to increase the volume of an existing bottle OR add functionality to indicate that I'm using more than one "label" when logging a feeding of pumped milk. I like the functionality that keeps up with the date/time/volume of each pumping session, but I'd like to be able to collect milk pumped in multiple sessions from the same day into the same container.Show lessKatslat4675
Shows Promise, but needs work
This has the basis for being a good app. However, it needs a lot more usability testing. For example, why can't I copy and paste events and then edit them? If my baby falls asleep, wakes for five minutes, sleeps, wakes and sleeps, it's almost impossible to enter all of these events without driving yourself crazy.Show lessTuchciydygivivib
Great app
This is a great app once you get over the learning curve (which probably isn't helped by sleep deprivation!). In order to use it in any meaningful way, however, you will need to buy the premium app. I really like how you can use it to record as much or as little info as you like while still remaining useful.Show lessNinzfiltermeow
Great app!
As a first time mom I downloaded a few different apps to tryout and found that First Year had it all and more! It is user friendly with a nice clean interface! Love all the different information I can input in the app!:PONYO:
Great detail!
Detailed app with emphasis on adding basic events data, but then allows drill down to add more if you like. Some of the interface design is good, some is a little non-intuitive (doesn't quite flow in how to get the data in). It's got some great tracking items, like last feed, how long sleeping, showing as live status panel. What I found tricky as a new Dad, was the time to capture these items in real time. Great app
Super easy to track the baby activities with this app. The nurses loved in the hospital too. The surface is very intuitive and easy to learn. We use it on 3 devices with the Dropbox synchronization - the account can be different from the one used by the Dropbox app so nobody has to give up use it.
One more advantage is that it doesn't have a cheesy pink ikon what I don't like to keep on my phone :)Show less<- Bubba ->
Excellent app
Picture the scene, you've arrived home after a stressful arduous labour, you and your partner have had little or no sleep for days. You will find yourself unable to remember when you've fed, changed or burped your little bundle of joy, this app not only tracks the lot, it records it puts it into charts and estimates when the next feed, change is due.
