  • THIS IS MY Favorite part of my songwriting

I bought this app about (eight)years ago, it’s now 2024, it has held all my lyrics from almost day one. I’ve never had a crash or a hiccup, the transition to the new updated app was seamless all my songs transferred over easily. This app is user friendly and has grown to a top notch platform. My mind flows all day with ideas and I never miss a beat. This app has allowed me to organize my thoughts to fill out songs. SONGWRITER I love your product thank you.

  • Fix the recording bug

I’ve been using this app avidly since 2014 and I love it. The upgrade is pretty dope with pretty dope features, but there’s a minor issue that needs to be solved. My favorite part about this app is the built-in recording feature. I’ve recorded some ideas on there but the recordings don’t show up on the list. It’s as if I’ve never recorded. I believe it’s a bug. Once that’s taken care of, ya got a five star app!

  • Outstanding App and Support

Bought the desktop app years ago and the iPad version last fall. Loved them then and recently jumped back in. Support was outstanding helping me get squared away with the new platform. Easy to use and super intuitive.

Happy to hear you jumped back in with songwriting. We wish you much success and appreciate your kind words! Glad you're enjoying Songwriter's Pad.
  • Garbage

Guess it’s my fault I lost all my songs from the old app. Didn’t it up first before logging into the new app.
My songs are gone. Will now go back to paper and pencil.
  • Excellent App and service

I have used this app for some time now and it’s great! I had trouble with my login and I lost access to ALL my work. I knew it had been synced to their cloud so I was hoping they could help. They went above and beyond to get my account straightened out. I now have access to my songs and lyrics thanks to their hard work! I wish all app developers worked this hard for their customers!

  • Songwriter

The improvements in the app are a definite plus in keeping us with advancements in technology and helping to motivate new, lyrical ideas. Understanding that process of revising and editing makes this app a valid and useful tool.

  • Ruined a good thing

Songwriter pad was my trusted songwriting companion on my iPad for many many years (I’ve written 364 songs with it!} but the new AI version is a very poor substitute for the reliable and friendly app I’ve depended upon. Their new paradigm is to use prompts to halp AI pre write a complete song for inspiration— and then retool it make it your own. That’s hardly a feature I’ve dreamed about. I am a fan of AI’s potential but I wish they had simply tried to incorporate AI to help us with the basics of song craft like easy access to synonyms, spelling and rhyme. The new formatting of song blocks make it impossible to see an entire song on one page. The font and formating appear to be impossible to adjust— it’s a very small font and difficult to read. The migration process has left many of my songs without the recorded audio that I depend on. Although it seems like SP can link to google Drive and Dropbox— I don’t see a way to import an audio file back into my song. I hope that Dante and his team continue to develop this app— I’ll hang on for a little while— but please just try to get the basics right first and then try to innovate AI into the writing process— not become a substitute.

  • Great App, needs one more Feature to be the perfect app for Songwriting

This app is great, the new updates have features we needed. However, now we need the ability to import audio files into the app, be able to play, pause, skip, and rewind the audio file. It would be great if all audio formats are compatible but Wav, MP3 and M4A are a must. If you guys can add this feature to the next update, I understand how complex that is but it will be a game changer. We wouldn’t need to play audio in a different app if we are able to play and do everything else within the songwriters pad. It’s a five star review but I put it as a 1 star so I can get the developers attention.

  • So Very Helpful 🎶

I had used the previous Songwriting Pad app for such a long time, and was always so very happy with it.
Moving over to the new app did create some issues but Dante Moore the developer was straight on to it with a personal Zoom call to me and so helpful saying he would sort everything out. He did just that and I am very thankful he did as I am so comfortable using this new app and will continue to so. Many Thanks and every success Dante 🎶

  • Nice (if expensive) idea if only the migration wasn’t so flakey

Cannot transfer my songs from the old app either automatIcally from spsync and no verse/chorus structure support using dropbox. Apparently using the new app before you’ve run some backup process in the old one screws up the data import .. hmm who would have thought that anyone would try opening the new app before deciding to migrate - lol
