  • Interesting experience

One person dominated the dinner to the point that they spoke 95% of the time, so I really didn’t get to know anyone else. I made a little effort at the bar to talk to the one person I felt drawn to. Whether that person felt any mutual connection to me I’m not sure. The karaoke at the bar was fun. I would try the experience again because I like the concept and believe I could end up meeting someone that would become a true friend or even partner eventually. I do believe that’s possible. Or even if a person only became a professional networking connection that would be cool. Everyone was nice, we just didn’t interact much and to be honest I didn’t feel that compelled to do so with the exception of one. But again, maybe if I knew a little more about them from them getting to share at dinner, that could have been different.
  • Great Experience But Paying Situation For Food Is Weird

Had a great time meeting some incredible people and really cool concept especially in a transient city like Vegas. My only 2 gripes is that the bar that all the groups go to was not being updated and suggested when I went to my Timeleft app, but that was probably a one time bug. However, a true gripe is the paying situation for the bill at the restaurant. The restaurant I got assigned too did not have the option to split it evenly which was a little weird especially for this specific concept. If you are going to gather a bunch of random people and meet each other for the first time and you have to share a bill and hoping everyone did their math right that is very nerve racking especially when you are the person having to pay the bill as the volunteer. An easy fix to that is for Timeleft to vet the restaurant out to see if it’s even possible to split the bill with the amount of people that they are reserving a spot for at that restaurant. Anyways that’s my only gripe, but I can’t stress this enough it was truly great to meet new and old locals in vegas a very much transient city.
  • Great experience all around!

Although it may seem a bit odd to take a seat at a table with random people and have dinner with them, I have to say the entire evening was heartwarming from beginning to end. We all sort of just clicked. The conversation was really nice, I got to know a little bit about each person. The food was delicious at the restaurant. And then almost all of us continued the night at the bar suggested to us by Timeleft. So many other groups were there as well, and I met even more interesting people that I hope to bump into at future events and dinners. I highly recommend the app and the experience overall.
  • Best Experience for Meeting New People and Trying New Places

I’ve lived in DC for a little over four years and I’ve always talked about how little I’ve explored the city. Tonight reminded me of how much the city has to offer. I met a group of folks that were really fun to converse with and share a drink with. I like how the app shares information about the evening in stages. Tonight was my first night and I think I’ll definitely try it again. 100% recommend for folks new to a city and looking for a structured and intentional plan to meet new people/socialize without having to do any of the work of finding a place, the people, or the icebreaker. Our group just dived right into convo and didn’t need the ice breakers. Will definitely be trying it again to meet more people and explore the city more!
  • Close friendships, far locations

This experience was one of a kind! Definitely a great idea and innovative execution. Today was the first Wednesday I gave it a go. I was miffed that the dinner was out of the Indianapolis area, in Franklin, which was 1.5 hours from west side Indy. The dinner was awesome and the ice breaker questions created a genuine flow in conversation. When our bar location unlocked, it was 30 minutes from our dinner venue and we would have gotten there 30 minutes to close. Thankfully, our group opted for a different bar, and TimeLeft veterans of our group invited people from a previous Wednesday. I look forward to another Wednesday and having an even better experience than before!
  • Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price

I had high hopes for this app, thinking it would be a great way to meet like-minded people over a meal. The concept is solid – you take a survey, and the app pairs you with strangers who share your interests and spending preferences. Unfortunately, the execution leaves much to be desired.

Despite selecting a reasonable dollar sign rating for my budget, the restaurants suggested were consistently way out of my price range. The app promises to match you with places that fit your spending preferences, but it’s clear that their algorithm needs serious work. I ended up in situations where I was uncomfortable with the cost, making the entire experience stressful rather than enjoyable.

If you're looking for a way to meet new people without breaking the bank, this app isn't it. Until they fix their pricing algorithm, I can’t recommend it. Save your money and find other ways to connect with new people.
  • App not functioning

Hi I have paid for a month subscription for August but the app did not allow me to sign up for all the dinners. Only one date appears (the 21) and there are two other Wednesdays (the 7th and 14th) which don’t appear as options for scheduling. I have reached out for assistance but the email option doesn’t work. I press and nothing. It does not appear to be a functioning button. I tried WhatsApp and have not received a response. I tried to reset my password and never got the reset email. I redownloaded the app and there was no difference. The app is very expensive, I’d like a refund as I could not attend all the dinners nor reset my password nor contact assistance. What do I do???
  • Amazing Night

I am typically a homebody but I consider myself friendly and often have no problem engaging others n conversation. This opportunity help put me with people to engage with. I was nervous but the dinner wasn’t awkward at all. It was like dinner with old friends. We laughed and talked for hours, until the restaurant closed. We also headed over to the 2nd location for drinks. It was the most fun I had in a long time. Our group plans to meet again. The algorithm works for sure!
  • Had a great time. Execution needs some work

I had a great time and met really cool people! Thanks for creating something like this.

    Some areas for improvement:

    1. The bar we were told to go to had a concert going on that night and was $25 cover. Luckily, I knew a friend doing a TimeLeft dinner in a different neighborhood so we were able to join his group and have a great night. I think the company needs to double check with the bar day of before sending us to a random place. Or have an easy chat option.

    2. The restaurant didn’t allow for separate checks so paying was pretty messy. We had to calculate what each person got and then we all had to Zelle and Venmo each other. We are all strangers so that was kind of odd.

Overall, I had a lovely time! Super fun.
