Leave a Review CTBIDS
Will stay on the web browser
Downloaded the app and signed in. Clicked button on the bottom for the watchlist since usually there. Unlike the browser it doesn’t show which watched items I’m winning or losing.
I want to see that on the watchlist since I’m usually watching extra items I’ll only bid on if I win something else.Developer Response
Hello, thank you for taking your time to leave a review. The "favorites" tab on the app functions the same as the watchlist items on a browser. We apologize for any confusion and will work to provide clarity on this subject moving forward. Not Nearly as Functional as the Actual Website
Clunky to navigate when bidding on the app. The website works more seamlessly.Developer Response
We're always working hard to improve the app. Thanks for your download and feedback. Not listening to reviews
It would be nice if the developers actually read the reviews and used that info to improve the app. There was an update 2 days ago, and what users complain about most, and have for MONTHS, was not addressed.
You say your app is user friendly, but when you click back after looking at an item, it takes you back to the top of the search. You’ve lost your spot. This is something that should have been fixed a long time ago, and never has been addressed. Why?Show lessDeveloper Response
We are taking all input into consideration and appreciate your time to share your concerns. Your experience in navigating the app has been documented. We will be sure to communicate updates to CTBids users as we work to enhance and improve.Dave henley
I have spent maybe 1500$ I’m having bids retracted in the middle of sales because I guess I ask questions and want answers I don’t like how they are doing business. I heard from a good from about this website and have entrusted them and I feel like this is unfair treatments.Developer Response
Dave, we apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced and appreciate your feedback. To best address your concerns, we suggest contacting the local owner, as each office is independently owned and operated.Useless
Doesn’t give you the sign in options of the web, i.e. sign in with your Apple or Google account. Can’t use the app if I can’t sign into my account. How did this get missed in beta?
Edit-
The sign in has been fixed. The app still requires me to go through three levels of menu to get to my favorite locations. I wish the devs would go look at the eBay or Etsy apps and take inspiration accordingly.Show lessDeveloper Response
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. We're pleased to inform you that we have resolved the issue, and you should now have access to sign in with your Apple or Google account. Not very user friendly
I was excited to have access to local online auctions. I downloaded the app and started looking at all the goods but the app keeps locking up on me. I can’t get back to the home page or favorites or anything. If it isn’t locking up then it’s making me relog in even though I selected keep logged in. I’m thinking I may just have to delete. If I can’t use the app well then I can’t buy things.Show lessDeveloper Response
We apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced with our app, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our team is committed to providing a seamless and enjoyable user experience. Thank you for being so patient, we value your feedback as we work to enhance the functionality of our app.Poorly coded and very sluggish
Was hoping this would be an improvement on this company’s website but the app is a fairly poor experience, especially when creating a profile. It won’t let you enter in a phone number without verification but the verification doesn’t work. Obviously released without proper testing, this app is a big disappointment for Caring Transition customer

My online account is attached to gmail on the web but that type of sign in is not available here. Sign in is step one so this app failed on step one. Fire your developer.Developer Response

Pro: It’s nice to have a dedicated app for the phone. You can mark favorites and much more.
Cons: There are auctions using CTBids that appear on the big estate sale website (not sure if I can use the name in this review) that don’t appear in the CTBids app. The “regionalization” feature (where you’re forced to choose a region to see results) seems to exclude auctions.
Additionally, if you’re looking at an item in an auction, and that item is in the middle of 120 other items, tapping the back arrow brings you back to the very top of all available items. You have to scroll aaaaaaallll the way down to get back to where you left off.
I think this can become a useful app once it’s had more time to mature, but for now I’m sticking to using a web browser to access the site.Show lessBetter than website but needs a few tweaks
This is a brand new app and it is actually better than I anticipated. Biggest problem, and why I had
To do 3 stars, is that when you go back it takes you to the very top of the auction instead of where you were looking. That is very annoying when you have to keep scrolling back through almost 200 items.Show less
