Suggestion

This is a really good app. One feature it lacks, the ability to identify any transactions that have not yet cleared the bank. This feature is really needed.

Thank you for your review! If you tap the circle next to a transaction when viewing the list of transactions, you can mark it as cleared/reconciled. You can tap the “Hide” icon at the bottom to hide the reconciled transactions and see what has not cleared your bank account yet. Then tap the “Show” icon to show the reconciled transactions again.

Great App

This app is perfect for me. I just want to keep track of several accounts on both phone and computer. Don’t need “bells and whistles.” Has Face ID, iCloud and simple layout. It works. Wish it would open to all accounts rather than to one of the accounts. Does not seem to be a way to fix this in Settings.

Great, but missing the feature I wanted

The app does everything I want except the ability to share the data to have an additional user (spouse) see the transactions recorded on their own device. A simple login feature to the app would do it. Wish I knew this before buying. Please add.

Thanks for your review! There are no immediate plans to add a login feature (with cloud storage other than your own iCloud account). But there is an Email Share feature that allows you to send each transaction to your spouse or other joint account holder. Go to the Settings screen, put in their email address, and every new transaction can be sent to them to import into the app on their device.

Love it minus one thing.

Love it, use it to keep myself from overreaching with my finances and allow me to not miss important bills. However, at the begin of each month I have to plug in the data fresh each time. I for example, cannot copy “mortgage” for “x” amount, and so on. And just change the date to the new month. That way the original log entry remains and a new copied one is made with the new date. Great for monthly expenses.

Thank you for your review! Please try the recurring transactions feature to see if this meets your needs. If you tap on "More" and then go to the "Recurring" screen, you can set up monthly transactions there. Alternatively, if you prefer to manually create the transaction each month, the type ahead feature for the transaction name makes it pretty quick to create common transactions. You will just have to re-enter the amount each time.

I don’t write checks anymore so rarely have my checkbook with me but my cell phone is always by my side. Therefore whenever I use my debit card I could make an entry into my check register and keep track of all my transactions

Limited Length of Account Names/Item Entries

Great concept, buyers should be aware that while it appears you can put in any length account names and item entries, format and design choices practically make anything beyond a few charters unusable without constant scrolling to actually read the names and entries.

Thank you for your review. Most long account names and transaction names display fine with the default Text Size setting for iOS devices. Also some adjustments have been made in recent updates, and long names have been tested for the larger Text Size settings as well. If you are experiencing issues, please contact me through the Developer Website, let me know how large you have set your Text Size, and provide some example account and transaction names.

Easy to use

This is an easy checkbook application to use. That saying, it really needs to have a way to print the information. Lacking that I am only giving it 4 stars

Simple and Easy to Use

Digital version of the old-fashioned check register book. Enter transactions with just a few taps on your phone. Custom categories and recurring transactions. Makes keeping track of transactions much easier and faster.

Great Job

I’ve been using this App for a couple years now and It’s been great! The only suggestion I have is to include the option to forecast recurring bills, expenses and income into the future for a custom number of months, days, quarters or years and show up immediately instead of the maximum of posting one month in advance. This would greatly help with planning for future projects or savings. I am currently having to enter each bill, expense and income manually for each month for the next 12 months. A few examples of this are Groceries every week on Tuesday for 12 months; or Trash pickup every 3 months on the 30th for the next year. Or my Social Security check every fourth Wednesday for 12 months, etc. Thanks!
