They charge you $10 for 5 minutes and then $2 for each additional minute. Doesn’t sound bad right?
That’s what I thought too. But here’s the problem, they deliberately drag out a 5 minute conversation to 25 minutes with delayed responses. So this app is going to cost you the same as all the others averaging around $40-50.
The person I chatted with was helpful, but I’m almost positive the long delay between responses is deliberate. The entire conversation could have easily fit inside a 5 minute time period. There was no reason for the chat to take 25 minutes or for me to pay $50.
Deceitful and dishonest practices, I would seek help elsewhere.Show lessnous333

We're really sorry that this is your opinion of our product. We only work with real licensed pharmacists as we strive to provide live conversations with real people. The personal touch we offer is what makes us stand out from the competition. Pharmacists may need some time to think and sometimes do some research before answering your questions. There are faster and cheaper services available, but they are lower quality as they rely on chatbots without any real human to speak to. As you mentioned, the cost to speak to a pharmacist is clearly stated in the app and it’s always the customer’s choice to continue or end the conversation beyond the initial 5 minutes. Although I completely understand the frustration of your conversation taking longer than expected. Our expectation is that pharmacists can answer a majority of relevant questions asked in about 5 minutes or less, at a basic level, but additional followup questions or more detailed information can prolong the conversation. Many questions asked do not ever go over 5 minutes, but it’s also not uncommon for a conversation to go over. Pharmacists may take some extra time to respond if additional details are asked of them, but aim to respond fast while verifying accuracy and maintaining quality in their responses, which is a challenging job. Such a simple platform to navigate for real time answers from a live pharmacist. Haven’t seen anything like this before and the app has already been so useful. I’ve had so many questions about medications and treatment that couldn’t wait until a doctor’s visit or a trip to the pharmacy and that’s no longer an issue. Will definitely be using more and more. Telehealth can actually help?!
I went in to this process extremely skeptical - I have had mostly poor experiences with telehealth in the past. However, despite my skepticism, I was amazed at how much my designated pharmacist was able to assist me with my particular question. They provided advice that gave me direction on an issue that I had been going back and forth on for quite some time. Definitely recommend to anyone that’s looking for a convenient way to get advice on your medications (or quitting medication in my case), or just a general health question, this is SO much better than WebMd or something comparable. This gives you a personalized approach to what are often complex medical questions.
Other than that, the app itself is super Intuitive and easy to use. Medidex is really on to something and I look forward to remaining a customer and following along on the journey.Show lessncarlin1
A great tool for modern healthcare needs!
I had a wonderful experience with this app and its service. In the same way that you may need to call a nurse advice line, this pharmacist helpline connects you to subject matter experts in a matter of seconds. The pharmacist that I spoke with was knowledgeable, quick to respond, and very thorough. She answered all of my questions, timely matter, and I felt more confident proceeding with my previously prescribed treatment. I was in a pinch to get a quick answer for my medical question, there is no chance of me getting in touch with my doctor in the middle of the night, and so this tool was worth every penny.
