  • Great, but how add brushes?

App has been easy to use, sometimes when I click menus they close instantly, I’ve seen a few others complaining about this too. Other then that, the process of adding brushes is a bit unclear sadly, I prefer my half tones in brush form rather then laying them over an area and erasing.
  • Good if looking for basic program

I love the customizable icons and the overall feel of the program but theres a few downsides.

No way to add custom brushes you’ve previously downloaded.
Thats a big turn away as i use them a lot. I thought buying the program would fix it and allow me to but it does not. I regret spending the 13$
  • WAIT IT BETTER THAN I THOUGHT

i mean i used to use the normal medibang one but i give me a lot of stuff that i don’t like 😭
When i saw this i thought it would be like the old one but it was better than i thought and i very appropriate for no ads thing 🙌💖
I hope I’ll use this program more frequently
  • Very buggy with new update

Since updating to 2.0, all menus keep closing immediately after tapping on them (especially the brush menu). Rarely can I switch brushes without the menu closing, and changing the brush’s settings is impossible.

I also find it a shame that making custom bitmap brushes doesn’t seem to be a feature yet. I miss that from the original and I hope it gets added soon. Otherwise it’s a neat program! I just wish I didn’t update…

    Developer Response

This issue has been resolved in ver. 2.1.0, so please try it.
  • Customization icon sizes

I appreciate the customization and it brings back some of Medibang’s UI that I really liked but some of the icons are just too small for me and I wish I could control the overall size.

    Developer Response

In Ver2.2, you can now customize the button size. Please try it.
  • Mediocre at best

It’s clearly trying to be like Procreate with it’s UI and layout. It’s nice they’re offering a perpetual license (after getting rid of it for their other mobile drawing apps…) But their older apps have far a superior UI and tools. Why can’t they just continue updating those ones and reinstate the perpetual license for them if they want to compete with Procreate? If you make a copy, people will simply go for the (better) original. It would be much better to keep originality for the people that prefer apps without an over-simplified UI, minus the predatory subscription pricing model.
  • To you

This is so amazing! I love this app so much! But I wish we could make animations I don’t know if we already can but I would like to make animations. This app helped me with my art a lot! Thank you so much for creating it
  • I switched from Procreate

First I’d be patient I think they are still trying to figure out how to make the app better. I’ll tell you why I choose this. I can’t efficiently illustrate without a fill brush. It’s a very convenient tool for shadows .I do huge illustrations. I need that feature to work in a timely way. Love the multi layer feature on the bucket tool and! The expand feature is perfect. I Love this app. I’m a traditional Sumi artist so nice to see some sumi brushes. I hope they allow more customization with brushes soon. Seems like they are working to make it better. So it’s a buy for me. Thank you for creating this. Oh! The print manuscript guide is most helpful.🙇🏻
  • It’s great, just one problem

I am not sure if I’m the only one experiencing this bug? Glitch? I don’t know, but whenever I open a layer and select it to either alpha lock it, change bonding modes, etc, it would just close as soon as I open it and I have to tap the layer over and over until it just STAYS STILL. My Apple Pencil NOR my hand are even touching the screen. It’s very irritating and you guys need to fix it asap.
  • Removed 8 bit layer

Not sure why they did this but I use halftones a lot, now I can’t create them unless I use one of the limited brushes for halftone
And I will always say this…. Why do none of the apps for drawingever have ruler like photoshop?

I like it but I keep going back to my MediBang paint, it feels unfinished
