Pretty art & decently fun for a pay-to-win tap gacha, but they don’t care what the players say or do.
Chat is rife with player-on-player harassment, death threats, talk of suicide, and bald-faced bigotry. Players set their names and guilds as slurs. Measures are only taken in the most egregious cases after days of hounding the staff in a clunky feedback chat, and they need screen grabs of everything, even readily available information such as guild names.
There doesn’t seem to be any auto-mod or blocked terms set up for chat, player names, or guild names. Kids play this game and are being exposed to hate speech and being told to kill themselves.
Honestly, most of the mobile games are super over exaggerated and you think God it’s pretty fun so you click on it you play and you get really disappointed and then you finally gave me like and then it gets boring after a week or two but this game I’ve skipped it at once or twice but then I decided I would try it and ever since then I was hooked it is super fun simple you get stuck at times but all you need to do is find the tree there’s a lot of things to do best game if you’re bored or you just want something fun this is the best mobile game I’ve ever played
I really really like this game would give it six stars if I could it is just like in the ad. My only problem is that a couple of weeks after I started playing the auto shop feature stopped salvaging the equipment that didn’t meet the requirements. Please fix this in the next update, also your game is amazing by the way also, how to redeem codes
I was suckered in by the compelling artwork, I got an ad about playing as a pig, and that was p interesting to me— I wound up going with the skrungly Eagle instead but all the characters are so charming in their own way.
The play style I thought was going to be a clicker style, but it’s not! Each chop results in a piece of equipment or familiar, etc, things that make your character stronger. You can only have one of each category so there’s no inventory: the main action is deciding what to keep and what to “salvage” for tribulation points. The game makes this choice very easy, which is great bc it’s constant. It can get a bit tedious after a while, admittedly, as it’s not a very interesting choice.
There is combat that is handled automatically, so no choices there, other than when you feel strong enough to engage. I’d rather rate it 3.5 but I’ll round up for this review.
I have a hope that things will get more complicated as I get further in the game! Admittedly I’m not v far in, so take my criticism with a grain of salt
I got this game advertised to me I don’t even know how many times and, usually, I ignore them, but this time I decided that I was going to humor the devs and give their game a try, and I was not disappointed. Not only is the game more or less what is advertised with a few things here and there that are a little exaggerated, it’s honestly kinda fun. It’s a very simple game but required very little effort and the little monkey in my brain likes watching the shiny colors pop out of the tree. It’s very satisfying watching your character level up and, even when you get stuck, you know that you just need better gear or you just need to farm a bit more and you’re not stuck behind a paywall.
That’s another thing, there is very very little pay to win in this game. Yes there’s a shop because this is a free mobile game, but I’ve made some pretty significant progress and haven’t spent a penny. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who isn’t too into mobile games but still wants something to do while on the go. Very fun, very satisfying, overall 9/10
So many games are nothing like the ads which is extremely annoying and disappointing, but this game is well make and exactly like the ads. It shows a game is good when they show what it actually is in the ad. I have just started playing but I spend hours playing each day. I don’t know who designed it but whoever did deserves an award. So thank you
This game is cute. It seems like it could be a fun little time wasting game. However: From the moment you log in, it is just a constant stream of “edgy” idiots finding ways to get around filters to say horrific, illegal, and bigoted things in the public chat.
There is no way to hide the chat, or to turn it off. Nor is there an accesible way to block or report users, if there is actually any way to do this at all. Any enjoyment I, and no doubt many other potential players, could possibly get out of this app is completely eclipsed by this major problem.
This game is epic and it’s doing good so far but however is there a way to level up the axe it’ll be cool if the axe has an upgrade axe where u can infuse states with equipment making it either stronger with status effects or weaker with status effect and the weapons would be cool if there would be some effect or make a blacksmith
I had to stop after a minute due to the obnoxious pop ups asking you to replace or salvage. I would suggest adding a setting to where you could do this by pressing a button yourself. But you can’t even access settings, you need to play the game until you unlock it- I really hate when these idle games do this. And I don’t see why we would need a chat outside of guilds. I don’t want to open my game and immediately see random basement dwellers who think its funny to have racist users on a game for 10 year olds.
Three stars because while I did not give the game a super fair shot, I don’t see why I should consider reinstalling this.
I don’t usually write out a review when I play a game, but this game was so bad that I had to write one because of how bad it was. First, the gameplay is repetitive, where you are basically stuck on a screen chopping a tree while getting exp to level up, I basically just summarized the point of the game. Second is the weird world chat system. There needs to be a censoring system because there are so many explicit thing people say about them one of them being SA and others in the quantity. Third, I can’t find the reporting system (if there even is one) which kind of creates a toxic environment to new players in the game. Overall my experience with this game was boring and a waste of my time, it’s tedious and the things that games aren’t supposed to be… BORING.
