I’m not sure what they were thinking. They had a (rather clunky but) functional web app, but now apparently the only way to charge my car is using this app. Only it won’t let me log in, so I can’t charge. And their tech support can’t help. So I’d call this app a dud, and the company, too.
3/30/24 update: No, the problem had nothing to do with an expired password. Resetting it multiple times was no help. It did finally allow me to log in, but only after I created a totally different account. And, to my surprise, my prepaid balance automatically transferred to the new account. Still not impresses with the programming, but I can now log in and can get the app to work, although I still sometimes have to try multiple times. Since it now works, I've upgraded the rating from 1 star to 3.

I’m OK to pay to charge but the broken app won’t allow that. Sad.

I'm sorry you experienced that. We had an issue with our emailing service which prevented some drivers from receiving confirmation emails. The issue was resolved, but I understand how frustrating that must have been. If you send a note to support@envirosparkenergy.com, I'd like to find a way to make this right.It took 2 min to set up with my credit card. They seem to be adding lots of chargers at a fast pace. Atlanta region has many! Love it!!
I 100% do not want to have to download an app to start charging my car. It takes 5 minutes that could have been spent charging but instead I’m fumbling around with downloading yet another app and putting in my information
