I paid the 6.99 to try it and recorded my voice. When it added it to a song you could barely hear it. So I deleted that voice to re-record aha it wants to charge another 4.99. It got me once, but not again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP. IT’S A RIP OFF.
Edit: per the developers response, if you delete your recording and there is no recordings then you should not have to pay on top of the payment you have already paid. That is a RIP OFF to make the purchaser pay again, period.

Customizing voice consumes a significant amount of server resources, which is why it requires separate payment each time. Deleting previously customized voices will not grant additional free customizations or allow for the retrieval of the original tones, so please be mindful of this.I love the concept and it does a great job using your voice to do covers and making you sound like you and sound like you can sing. You can obviously use it to match other singers voices to other songs which is cool. The problem is they don’t give much direction in the beginning and you get a one off chance when your reading the silly app description out loud to record your voice. You can’t add any other voice unless you pay quite a fee. You can’t edit your own voice like it has you to believe. So the app is great as is if they didn’t mislead you to think it can do more or that you can be shown how to use it properly right off to get best results but it’s obviously set up to get you to want to pay. I spent $40 and still only one voice for the price

It doesn’t get it right the first time and you know it. You say you get one free but it isn’t free if you pay a subscription. Then you don’t tell people this before they buy in. This is a misleading rip off and a poor product. I really wanted to like this too👎🏾

We are offering a one-time free trial for the custom voice option.First and foremost, the app lacks any form of instructions or user guidance. From the moment you open the app, you’re left to fend for yourself, trying to figure out how to navigate through its confusing interface. For an app that is supposed to help users improve their singing, the absence of tutorials or a user manual is a glaring oversight. Moreover, the app is incredibly difficult to use. The features are not intuitive, and it’s a struggle to even start a singing session. The user interface is poorly designed, making it a chore to find the options you need. Adding to the disappointment is the lack of a free trial. The app markets itself with impressive promises of what it can do, but without a free trial, users are forced to purchase it blindly. This feels like a tactic to get people to buy the app without being able to test its actual functionality. A free trial would allow potential users to evaluate the app’s capabilities and determine if it’s worth the investment. In summary, this is a poorly executed app that fails to deliver on its promises. It’s difficult to use, lacks essential instructions, and doesn’t offer a free trial to justify its purchase. You cannot get it back at all. You can upload only one voice memo for one person. If you erase it, they will charge you again. This is not clear in the beginning or anywhere in the app.
I understand that, but the that is not written in the terms of use or anywhere else. The only way that you find out, is when you try to add a new voice, after you have paid. Or if you read this review.

Even changed my natural pitch while reading the test for it to learn my speech. I also recorded my voice separately to compare. This app missed the mark in every way and I sounded absolutely nothing like myself in any version of multiple songs and genres I tried. I’m guessing that’s why you have to pay up front immediately before trying….creator(s) are well aware it’s not good at emulating voice to anything recognizable. Even the default voices they already have….miss the mark and no one I let listen could identify even super popular voices. Disappointed and feeling a little cheated out of a few $

They say they give you one free one before buying. It’s false advertisement! Instead you get “a problem occurred”…so now your only try is used up! They don’t show a video of how it sounds on their main app page, they don’t let you hear examples, and you don’t get to hear how you’d sound before buying it! Not worth it at all! I’ll stick to Smule! Give 3-5 recordings before you charge. No one is going to buy shoes if they’ve never seen what they look like or if they fit!
1) The song sounds nothing like my voice
2) There are no options to modify “your” voice in-terms of tempo, pitch, depth, ect.
3) After one voice is recorded, if you want to record a second voice you hit a paywall - for a stupid avatar.
This is a very exciting time we have, in seeing the wonders of AI. Language models, image/video generation, and data organization are all a perfect examples of how much potential applications can have - this app just is not it. Do yourself a favor, take the $8 (the cost just to test it) and buy you and a friend a coffee instead. ☕️
You pay the weekly subscription to try it out. It prompts you to record a pre-written document to read. And it’s positioned as that’s all you need. After I did a recording and had it processed, I got my voice to sing a song. Epic. But it doesn’t sound right. So I delete the original recording to re-record, and I’m met with another $6/recording paywall. How ridiculous. If you’re going to force me to pay every week or every year, why force me to pay for each time I go to use the main feature that’s advertised for your app. It’s scummy. And I don’t like it.

After you pay, they do not tell you anywhere that you only get one chance to get it right. Before you know it they are charging you more fees to buy things you don’t want or need. You should be able to edit your voice until you are happy, not having to buy more AI covers. So if you delete your one cover you are out of luck. There are other apps that don’t mislead you. I will recommend to Apple to remove this predatory app.
