There’s something to be said about free samples, like the person that hands out bite sizes pieces of teriyaki chicken in a mall food court. As I wonder around trying to find something to satisfy my hunger, it’s often the teriyaki sample that wins me over. This app doesn’t do that— it asks for money up front, you of course can close the window and progress into the app, but don’t worry, that subscription window will be back. It will then ask you for a sample of your voice, which takes about 2-3 minutes, then it requires your picture to go with your voice when you move to the next page, and then that’s the end of the sample experience; that subscription box come back and asks for either a weekly or yearly commitment. It doesn’t process your voice and gives you a taste of its capabilities, presenting the user with that “shock” experience, just a concrete wall that requires you to pay without having a peek of what’s on the other side. This app doesn’t just not offer a sample, but asks you for a sample, and then abruptly asks for your investment for the experience.
It was a waste of my time and curiosity, and it was enough of a disappointment that I gave more time to warn anyone who reads this to ignore the glimmer and go spend your money on something that will give you a 10billion times better experience — a teriyaki chicken meal from your local food court.
Apple has been great about refunding apps that weren’t up to expectations but this one failed. There’s no free trial so I signed up for the week, downloaded on Thurs, tried 2 songs and this was not what I expected so I went to request a refund after less than 10 minutes of use. I deleted the app too. The app wasn’t eligible for a refund until Monday because it showed as pending. I submitted the request for refund twice and was denied. On apps that I use I’ve no problem paying but this is not something I’d use. Very disappointed in this experience.
So the short story you can't really do a lot you can do AIM music but if you're rich and you can use your parents credit card then you're gonna have fun get the app but if you can't pay like if you can't get any game passes in other games, then you're gonna probably have no fun in this so if you're only getting the temporary early and you can't pay, you're only gonna be able to use it for like two days so be sure about this app😒😞😔😥😢😭😭😭🙃🙃🙃
It’s a cool concept. It’s very fun to play around with once ‘it’ gets it down, which might take a couple tries recording yourself but be warned, you only get one free “voice.” Not perfect but I’m sure it’s only gonna get better with time. I was sad to see that there’s no free trial for this but I was too intrigued to not try it, being an artist with a terrible singing voice lol. My only dislike is that after they charge you a weekly/monthly subscription, you then have to pay for any additional voices you want to use to listen to (or because maybe the AI didn’t get your voice right the first time so you have to re-record yourself).

I paid for a one week subscription to give this app a fair try. Then I recorded my voice as instructed, making sure I use the natural tone however, after choosing various songs, none of them sounded like me. They just sounded like generic computer generated voice. Then I tried to re-record my voice again to see if I could give it another chance, and on top of the subscription, they want an additional $4.99 for a second voice. I even tried to generate a song with one of the included celebrity voices and it was terrible. there’s also no editing or additional customization so you get whatever they generate for you and it’s really bad

I sing professionally, have professional recordings and this app does nothing for you. I tried recording a couple of times and still it doesn’t even slightly sound like my voice. After you tried singing the text, it offers you another fee to create your own AI voice model. But zero credibility at this point.
Update: the developer’s response is awful. I know vocal range really well. I know songs to pick. Your app is the problem. Maybe the developer should a bit more research about singing before deciding to charge for a product.

Downloaded it and was willing to give it a try and maybe eventually pay for a subscription for further use. But no, the app lets you do absolutely nothing but scroll around unless you pay. Not even a free trial or anything.
They gave me one try on a song, said it’d take 1 minute to generate, waited 15 minutes just for it to say “Failed to generate, please resubmit”, which I can’t, because they just demand more money from you. Great first impression.
Maybe if you actually let us try the app you’d get more people to pay for it. People won’t pay if they don’t know what they’re getting.
