Excellent start
I am new to flying. Just got my first drone (mini pro 3) for Christmas. I am following 44809 and am safely learning to fly my drone thanks to training by pilot institute.
Great job of matching B4UFly before it was retired. (like me)
I would like to see a section for pre-pre-flight before on location pre-flight. Showing possibly multiple links to websites for weather info (current or future) with option to select one we prefer to go to the top of the list. Also any other sites we should check that this app does not cover (like a link to pilot institute wiki for state and local restrictions) or a link to fpv coalition’s member who posted a fria map.
Put short suggestions as to when we should or when we might want to look at certain links.
Put these in a logical order so from this app I can be sure I have done my due diligence to make sure I am clear to fly. Without holding the aloft app responsible.
It would be less stressful if I could go through this app and either plan for a fly in a minute and/or start planning for some other flight. Say on a vacation or at night where I need to do more planning.
All these websites I guess could be stored somewhere on my phone. But for me a linked checklist described above will help me and possibly other recreational drone fliers.

Thank you for picking up where others left off. My Drone was out of service during the transition. Upon getting her back in the air, and for the first time using Aloft, I found the flight logging to be seamless. In my world, anything seamless, is priceless. Thank you for great Customer service.

What it Really Needs…
What this really needs is integration with FlightAware, so we know if there are planes or choppers near our airspace.Imix4u
Buggy
Makes me verify that I’m human 3 or 4 times before I can file a flight plan. (users are getting tired of this bull crap)
Constantly reloads, so then it’s telling me to be careful because some drone pilot just filed a FP at my exact location (yeah it was me thanks)
And then I get buzzed by a 2 passenger plane that never showed up at all. So it’s either not showing me manned aircraft or people aren’t filing with this system.tomofpittsburgh

So far, less than B4UFLY
I’m hoping this will be built out, beyond a link to Pilot Institute and a link to Aloft. As of 12/18/23, this appears to be a rebranded B4UFLY with less options in the menu. Probably a great marketing tool for both groups. But, if this is going to be a replacement, and described as having been enhanced, I’m missing the improvement. Hopefully, users will see some tangible changes, soon. I may be missing something but it seems like the release and announcements jumped the gun.athensmac
