Needs work
Unable to message developer for feedback. App has potential but needs work. Creating routines is either not possible or very difficult to understand how to do. Exercises have mismatched explanation when clicked the information button.Bugs and Poor UX
The app feels like it’s still in beta… a few bugs and some obvious UX mistakes. For instance, the app crashed multiple times and the section that asks for height during onboarding doesn’t specify the metric type (feet, inches, stones, etc) and no decimal option. When I added my height, my BMI was calculated at 400%… seems a little off to me. I experienced multiple other bugs and quirks during onboarding… I’m surprised this app isn’t being deployed via TestFlight.
Also, the onboarding is unnecessary very, very looooooong. Many of the questions are useless and redundant, and details like height and weight should be able to be pulled in via Apple HealthKit integration. Any fitness app for iOS without the option for HealthKit integration doesn’t make sense. Less is more sometimes… If the Dev integrated HealthKit and cut onboarding by 80%, most of the bugs and UX issues would likely be resolved by omission and simplification.
Lastly, this app requires an IAP to access any features. The Dev is running a promo selling lifetime premium via IAP for $.99. In many cases this is a great deal, but not when the app is still in beta. Paying a Dev anything to let me be their beta tester is absurd to me, though others may be very happy to oblige. IMO Dev’s should provide incentives to users that they leverage for a beta testing. IF this is supposed to be the fully baked app ready for public release… 😬.Early days
Still getting into program, looking very good at this stage, money well spent
