Bad update
Put a bit more effort into this one guys. This app is the gateway to your products and leaves a poor impression.
No weather or location data coming through on the Home Screen, not supporting daylight savings AEDT so time is out by an hour for TAS. Difficult to change location in app. In the past I have had problems reconnecting the RC2 to WiFi if it drops out. It’s mind numbing having to go through the process of reconnecting - only solution I can find is to delete and reinstall the controller and start from factory settings. Last time this happened I had to update to this new app which was a long and protracted process. When you make an account it asks for location and time zone info, which you have to select from all the other time zones on the planet (even know you have already entered your ZIP code and country. Then once you login you have to input the same info again! Not enough thought has gone into testing this app for user experience before launch.
Feature request:
- Update daylight savings time (AEDT)
- Rearrange the order of your stations so when you set up a program, you can have flexibility as to what order your system runs.
- Connectivity issues. Make it easier to reconnect when WiFi drops.
- Save programs to cloud with the new account (hope this is the case)
- keep user data for faster setup (time zone, location etc.)
