Great idea but LACKS info on back-up location
Decided to try Hezel app through Indie Santa. Here is my review.
PRO:
Great idea to back up Apple Music Library & playlists
Didn’t know Apple Music back-up is unreliable until this app
CON:
NO information on back-up location on the description (only provided in privacy policy, which must be opened via a not-so-obvious link)
Limited back-up storage options
SUGGESTIONS:
Add back-up location in app’s description & storage settings (local back-up/synced to iCloud)
Add back-up options (local w sync to iCloud/ direct to iCloud)
Add storage limit options in settings (more than 5GB?)
Add restore options on back-up music or playlists

Hi there, The backup info is available from the app’s Settings screen under the Privacy section. iOS handles the settings for storage sync with iCloud in the Settings app. Sure, we can add more storage options in the future, this is first we’ve hearing about it. Easy to use and does what it says
If you have sentimental playlists this is a must
Superb for Apple Music
This is a great app to make sure all your music is backed up to the iCloud. All playlists, albums, songs and everything are automatically backed up for a restore if you should need it.
Not had to test it yet
I’ve been using this to keep backups. Fortunately I’ve not had to use it to restore yet.
I would like to see it support smart playlists as I rely on them to organise my music and would be gutted if I lost those. That feature would be worth the pro version fee.

Great, simple backup app
Given the size of my Apple Music collection, across many playlists, it’s really a pleasure to find such a nice, intuitive back up app to use. Even the free version is great, unlike most “free” unless you want to make usable. Still even the paid version is a reasonable one time purchase, not another subscription to deal with me. If you want to protect your music collection you’ve built in Apple Music this is a must.

Absolutely Insane
I value my music selection on AM so I was timid to give the app permission to my library. But I finally did and it backed up my 4 year long library in less than 5 seconds. Incredible work the app developer did!
Such a good idea
Apple Music can be a bit unreliable with storing libraries and stuff like that. This app lets you backup your library in case it gets deleted or you make an accidental change. Highly recommend.

used this when changing regions, all worked fine until a big playlist wouldn’t restore, contacted the dev and it was fixed within a couple hours, cannot recommend this app enough
Innovative
Great idea, great app and THANK YOU for the one-time purchase rather than a subscription. I don’t really need the pro feature but I purchased it just to support you and the one-time purchase model.
