Convenient
This app is convenient and faster than the touch control screen, so I like and use it. However, the App timer doesn’t countdown when it’s in the background, if you glance at it instead of physically looking at device. Notably, the timer does still countdown on the device.
UPDATE- Helpful Tip to other users-
If your app works and then the next time you use it, it doesn’t, TRY this:
Turn off your device, then turn back on. The app should now work. I discovered this inadvertently. Hope this helps someone that is as baffled and frustrated as I was when it happened to me! Happy RED lighting! ;)

Not really functional
The first time I used the app to start a session it worked, but the time remaining displayed in the app is not the same as the time displayed on the panel. If the app is put in the background the timer stops. The third time I tried using the app, it no longer started the session. I had to use the panel screen. The app is not really functional.
