Just use this. It’s perfect.

Shareshot consistently triggers a “how did you make that?” from friends and family, and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s what I imagined a tool like this would be like if Federico Viticci made his Apple Frames Shortcut into an app. Everything is well considered and ridiculously simple.

Just use this app. You won’t regret it.

Great tool!

Thanks for creating this delightful tool. Keep up the great work! I can’t wait to see future updates.

Response from developer

Thank you — we can’t wait to ship some new features!

Love the look

Love the app, such a great upgrade from the shortcut! The background variety is just awesome, reminds me of Denim is a very nice way.

I'm actually using this for my own App Store Previews. It'd be great to get custom sizes exported, that would save me a few steps 😅 And longer term support for screen recordings and animated backgrounds would be sick. Keep up the good work!

Excellent For Sharing to Socials!

There’s so much care and thought that’s gone into creating this app. As an app developer myself, being able to grab a screenshot on-device, launch Shareshot (via a Siri shortcut, even!), and share a beautifully framed image directly to Instagram is a game changer.

Thanks for building this!

Thanks so much for the lovely review, it truly means a lot to us! We are so glad you like it.

Subscription expensive for what it is

Great looking app though. A subscription for screenshots is excessive.

Maybe sell individual packs of phone frames each year and iPhone is released. At least you won’t be charged again when none of the updates are required for your phone.

Response from developer

Thanks for the review! You can of course use it completely free, there is no need to subscribe if you are OK with a watermark. We’re sorry you feel a subscription is excessive but even if you purchased individual frames we’d still have to work on the app to keep it compatible with system updates and add new features. An app like this has a small audience and subscriptions give us the ability to sustain development of it.

Super effective

Really handy little utility and even supports Nintendo Switch now.

Thanks Christopher! So happy you like it.

So easy to use

Shareshot is fantastic and so easy to use. It automatically selects the correct device frame, allowing me to focus on customising the look with stunning backgrounds, shadows, and lighting options. In just seconds, I can create polished, professional images. A quick, intuitive app perfect for anyone who like to shares screenshots.

Thanks! We’re so pleased you like making your device mockups with Shareshot.

Lacking features for a subscription app

Doesn’t seem to be worth a subscription, maybe a one time purchase? I took a landscape screenshot, and it totally borked out, saying it couldn’t match a frame to the shot?? Hopefully, the devs will make it better with updates, but at this time…..not worth it!

Response from developer

Hi - can you please contact us using the info in the app and share with us what device you have and an example screenshot? We may be able to help you if you reach out.

Game-Changer for Streamlining My Workflow

I can’t overstate how much time this app has saved me. It’s incredibly user-friendly, with a sleek, well-designed interface, and packed with powerful features. However, thanks to the app’s seamless Shortcuts integration, I rarely need to open it directly. I’ve created a Shortcut that allows me to frame multiple screenshots at once. That’s what u use most of the time. I simply tap the share button in the screenshot editor, and select my custom “Frame with Shareshot” shortcut. The Shortcut frames all my screenshots using some pre-specified settings (like shadow options and quality), and prompts me for other settings (frame size and background colour) It then saves the images to Photos and opens the Photos app so I can quickly do with them what I need. I suppose the only downside to this is that I won’t know when there are new features in the app, since I rarely have to open it. Kudos to the developers!!
