I don’t about this how can I trust an app that can’t even get the date and time right

This is not an inherent issue of GeminAI, but rather the data Google trained the AI Models on. We hope you continue to enjoy using GeminAI.Very good app, syncs great with iPhone.
Used to be able to use my own API key. Now that feature is gone and I gotta pay monthly? Pass.

Dear Bushwh@ck,
Unfortunately, we had to remove custom API keys due to certain App Store guidelines. However, you can still use GeminAI completely for free and no ads even without paying for the pro subscription. The only current advantage of the monthly subscription is access to Gemini 1.5, which the app version you are likely still on did not even support at all regardless of custom API Keys.
Have a good one.With the newest up to date iOS and app version a majority of the font size and words are completely cut off

I like the app, it does what it needs to do. Don’t love the name change or the icon though. Can we have some options to change the look of it? Like the old diamond shape thing on a black background would be nice. Look at me getting all bossy, I’ll sit down now. Thank you for the reliable app and please and thank you for considering my thoughts. 👏

Hey, thanks for the feedback. We had to change the name and icon because we were given a strike from Google for it looking too similar to the official Gemini name and logo. But, we will take your suggestion to add more customization into account.Obviously this app just uses the API, so the fact that Google Gemini is so lame is on Google. Anyway: great app, really nice, clear chat interface. Excited that there’s no IAP (for now). Thanks for making this available.

Thank you for your kind words. If you find the Gemini APIs lame, feel free to use the web view for now (we will be adding new AI models soon).Super cool app, and fast. However after getting several questionable responses I realized this app does not have very fresh data. For example, this review is written on April 9, 2024. Geminify tells me the date is Feb 28, 2023. This renders any info untrustworthy where time/date or freshness is important. Cannot trust this app.

This is not a limitation of BeminAI but rather the data the Gemini APIs were trained on. You can now however upgrade to Pro and use Gemini 1.5, which is much more capable!it is better than copliot and chatgpt3.5
