This game has a lot of potential but there’s just way too many issues for me. There are so many bugs, the ratings are all over the place, the MASSIVE stars under the players is obnoxious, and a lot of the uniforms are inaccurate/have weird errors. The last one is very confusing because the uniforms in the standard RB game are near perfect. I’d also up the salary cap and allow teams to have larger rosters. You should be able to have more than 6-7 players from whatever team you use. No extreme mode makes it unplayable for me but I’ve heard that’s being worked on so I’ll cut them some slack. Overall, I just see no real reason to play this over RB or RBC right now. Hopefully they make the necessary changes in the future to make this game great.
I really loved the original game and even bought the unlimited version but this version of the game is missing some things. Firstly this game is missing extreme mode. Without the extreme mode this is game is way too easy. Before when I used to play the original and played on extreme it was so hard to win but now on this game I go 17-0 easily. Second the stats for other players in the game make no sense like how are they getting 6000 yards in 10 games, they need to fix that cause otherwise it’s impossible to get mvp or any of the awards. Lastly they need to update the trading system so that it is easier and cooler to make trades cause as of now it’s kinda boring and needs word. All in all though I really like this game they just need to make some updates on it so that it becomes a great game.

The issue with players on other teams accumulating large stats will be fixed if you update to the latest version. We will continue to improve the stats system in future updates.I’ve only had this game for a little while and it’s been really fun and I’m really glad newstar got an nfl license but I’m a little confused on why Patrick mahomes (yk the best qb in the league) max potential star rating is 4.5 stars but qbs like Lamar and Josh Allen have 5 star potential?and I wished mcduffie was in the game but that really isn’t that big of a deal. Overall good game needs to fix mahomes rating PLEASE just up his stamina or something like we’ve seen him win the superbowl on injury before and play on injury other times I think higher stamina is deserved. 🤷 just a thought.
So, to start, I have played the original game (by the way THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS A SEPARATE GAME!!👍😀🔥🔥🔥 fire means cool btw) and this is basically the same game. But the cool thing about it is that it’s got the real NFL peeps and I get to make Patrick Mahomes look like he’s actually kinda good. I’m 12 and lots of people say that I’m WAY better at being a qb than him. Besides the point, I’m glad that this is a separate game from the OG retro bowl because I wouldn’t want to play it if it were just an update. I feel like this (although it is fun) loses the aspect of ‘retro bowl’ and more like pixely Madden. One issue that could be fixed, on the Home Screen of the game with the NFL logos all going, this makes me both motion sick and kind of turned around. Like a stand still or big version or optional to that or something please. Also, like 5 minute games would be great. Thanks!😊
Also could you make RB College on Apple Arcade? I LOVE Auburn, and I want to play with your version of them, but I don’t wanna have in app purchases. It just makes it clutter.
First off so glad you got NFL licensing! Great game, graphics are amazing and gameplay is always super fun. I do have some ideas for the next update(s) if you when you get around to them:
- Crowd sound should be louder
- Music after scoring a touchdown
- Customization features (uniforms, end zones, jersey numbers, gear) BRING BACK TEAM EDITOR
- Players wear their actual gear in-game
- Field logos have more color
- Extend cap space from $150M to $200M
- More trade offers from other teams
- Other teams stats need to be more realistic
- Bring back extreme mode
- Weather needs to occur more often
- A news page regarding yours or other teams scores and players
- League leader stats page
These are just some ideas I had for the future of this game, but I love it and it’s awesome. Thank you New Star Games and NFLPA!

First off, the other teams season stats are always super inflated it’s kind of crazy playing against a rookie quarterback with 200 season touchdowns. I hope that’s just a bug and is resolved soon. I also miss the old roster, but extreme mode, and the jersey editor. I love the old retro bowl and this ten man roster is just too small, I prefer managing more star players and I prefer the twelve player roster option you can select in the other retro bowls. Extreme mode is coming I’m aware I just can’t wait to see it, and I really loved the jersey editor option l. Just a couple things I would love to see I appreciate this game a lot and I’m sure it will be great with updates and time

We will continue to improve the stats system in future updates.I love retro and I love the nfl so of course I bought this game. Couple things need to be fixed though. First I can barely create a full team with the amount of money you get. Also there are some glitches when you look at others teams players stats. Like it said Jordan Love had 338 yards and 28 TDs on 91 attempts in one game and Chris Jones had 253 tackles in ten games. Last thing is there is no extreme mode so if u have a pretty decent QB or RB you can score in two plays. With some work this game could surpass the original retro bowl.
Why no extreme mode, I am used to the extreme difficulty that playing on hard difficulty makes it way to easy. But I think the worst thing and most disappointing thing is that the defense of players on the the other teams don’t play different . When I went against the Cowboys I thought Trevon Diggs would lock my receivers down but he just played like every other corner on hard. And Micah also didn’t play different. How hard is it to just make them a little better. You can’t just increase the speed for the line men and line backers. And just make the corner backs cover just a little better. The game is just retro bowl with NFL listens with no extreme. I think they should add a couple things to make the game better
1. Add extreme
2. Make other teams players matter
3. Add Team editor
4. Be able to play defense because that’s all I ever want in a retro bowl game

I really love retro bowl I played it on my old phone when it first came out and grinded it so much. I also grinded lots of college retro bowl to. I really love this one and it has to be my favorite. I love how the developers went all out with this one. I just have one bug that upsets me, when I go to return a kick it should be CMC but it’s default player instead even though in roster he has the green kr flag. It’s fine but just wanted to point it out, I love this game.
Retro Bowl NFL should definitely add Super Star X-Factors like Madden! It would take the game to the next level by giving players special abilities and making each game feel more intense. Imagine having a quarterback with a rocket arm or a wide receiver with super speed, and you could activate those abilities during key moments of the game. It would make every player feel unique and add more strategy to the game.
Also, Retro Bowl should let you play defense! Right now, you just watch the other team play and hope your defense holds up, but it would be awesome if you could control your defensive players too. Imagine using a linebacker with a tackling ability or a cornerback with amazing coverage skills. Each defensive player could have their own abilities just like offense, and you could use them to make big stops or even cause turnovers. Adding these features would make Retro Bowl NFL even more exciting and would give players a full football experience!
