I have been looking for an hourly "chime" for my phone that runs in the background & I don't have to remember to open. This app is just that it also has a on/off switch which is perfect for when you don't want it on. Great app I'm glad I found it!!Hollyister
Last update crashed my phone
I had to hard-reboot my iPhone three times before I could get anything besides a black screen after installing this update.

Theoretically handy
Probably would have been ok for what I wanted but for it demanding I set it to read my location and notifications. Neither of which is necessary for giving me a beep each hour.

That's what I need
It's the only app I keep after I've tried 10 of alternatives, I gave 3 star is because there are some functions need to be improved. otherwise I will have to ask refund for lady voice in-app purchase in cooling period.
Issue 1: the app will not wake up my phone until I unlock with my finger, then all notifications were listed on the screen.
Issue 2: this app somehow conflicted with my another app - EUDIC dictionary. it is important to me to turn on the function of LightPeek, which allow me to copy a word on the screen and explanation will be showed on notification bar.
I will put it aside until new update available, I hope it will be fixed soon, thanks for your looking after this app latelyShow lessSean.Ip
Good when it works
Which is not very often. It will be working one day then quit. And I have tried the on/off button both ways when it won't work too (and why don't they just say on/off vs I/O?) Not worth the hassle I am deleting it, can't depend on it.KZRev
Has the features other apps DON'T
I'm thinking all these people with bad reviews must have the power button on their app turned off, or must not have allowed push notifications.

I simply wanted something to beep at me hourly during the day to remind me to get up from my desk and MOVE!
I was concerned when other reviewers said it didn't work, but I figured I had nothing to lose since it was free.
When I downloaded and opened the app, my phone asked if I wanted to allow it to make notifications and I said Yes. Works great for me! Perhaps the other reviewers didn't give it permission to work on their phones...
I even fully closed the app so it wasn't open in the background and it STILL beeped for me on the hour.
Also, I like the simple clean app design. Well done!Show lesstra548
Important App for people who need help to stay on task
I have looked for a app like this forever, working at home and getting off track, next thing you know 2 hours have slipped by. A simple reminder just to let you know, it's time to refocus and get back on track.👍Do I?
