Description of TalkingTime

• TalkingTime speaks the time on the hour, half-hour and/or quarter-hour. • "Set and forget". The app only runs during setup so you can do other stuff with your phone, and it won't run down your battery. • You set the schedule. • TalkingTime respects the 12 (AM/PM) or 24-hour time setting of your device. This is the most useful utility app on my iPhone.

Reviews of TalkingTime

  • Keeps me on track

I love this app because it’s easy to get lost in projects and forget what time it is. The audio reminders keep me connected to the clock so I can make regular decisions about productivity. I also like that I can set it to announce things like: “the time is 2:45; it's time to pick the kids up from school" or "the time is 9:30; it's time to take your insulin" or "the time is 5 o'clock; it's time to start making supper." It all really helps me to stay on track. Thanks so much for this talking time app!
  • My personal ADHD coach

If you’re time-blind when you're focused like me, this app simply reminds you to look at your watch and move on. It would be great if I could set other times than only 15 minute intervals, but I make it work for me. I love adding notes for my phone to say at specific times. My students think it’s funny when my phone gets bossy and starts and ends class. “Class is starting, let’s see who’s here” or “Class is ending, wrap it up”. I also love the interface. It’s not pretentiously over designed and has what you need. This app actually keeps me from looking at my phone and has made me more productive. Really there’s nothing bad about it.
  • I love this app

It may not seem like this is an app you need, but having a constant way to be aware of time is valuable if you are really busy or you have adhd and suffer from time blindness. I have referred this app to many people to help with just that application. I recommend this app to anyone that needs a way to track time or be aware of its passing.
