This is quite a clever idea. Basically, it allows One to search for the cheapest return flight combinations from a range of UK airports to various European destinations. Not only that, but it automatically picks the first flight of the day for the outward leg and the last one for the return, maximising your time at the destination. Then links you through either to the airline, such as Ryanair, or to an online online travel agent, in order to make your booking.
If I lived closer to an airport this would be great. If only it existed when I lived in London.
There are a few things I would like to see improved or developed. First, the search time, particularly for all London airports, is ridiculous, and it would be great if there was a way that this could be speeded up. Secondly, I feel a bit limited only being able to search for either a specific date or for weekends next month. It would be good to be able to search for a defined list of dates, or perhaps for weekends across a longer period, such as three or six months. finally, the all London airports search option will be really helpful for those in the south east, but it would be good to have some other airport groups, such as north-west or north east, or preferably ability to define one’s own, such as Newcastle, Leeds Bradford and Manchester. Oh, and what about including Eurostar and connecting destinations for those with striking distance of London? And extreme day trip to Bruges, Paris or Cologne is probably a possibility.
