The steam room has been closed for months
For some of us it’s part of the experience to meet likeminded people after a swim or gym session it’s a big miss. I know for certain some people have stopped coming to the centre because of the lack of desire to fix the problem.
If you really wanted it fixed you could do more.

Hi , I rang up yesterday as I had not been to the Gentle Exercise Class for a long time and I noticed the price was £6 - I thought had it gone up ?
Anyway I decided to ring the leisure centre and check ( unfortunately I didn’t get the member of staffs name ), however she was extremely helpful and told me to sign off my app and then to sign back on again as I should only be paying £4 as I am over 60 .
She amended the payment from her end so I got the concession discount .
So thank you so much for your help and support I appreciate it .

New app better than old app to book but it doesn’t work as well with notifications if classes full and you select notify me of a space. It doesn’t update as quick if a space becomes available and it doesn’t send out the notification straight away as the old app used to. The app also has an option to send an enquiry if you have any queries on classes where you can add your contact number to be contacted when being looked at. That doesn’t happen you just get a big standard cut and paste email reply. Can’t see the app being updated to change space now free notification problem or a change to email reply due to cost of app update or staff levels to manage enquiry replies by telephone.Show less
