I’m a gremlin who goes between watching and listening to CR so YouTube has been the perfect place to consume CR content. I’d like to swap over to beacon but won’t until we get the option to continue listening to content when screen is lockedSammishamsam
Great content, awful UI
There’s so much great critical role content on here and i’d love to watch it all but the user interface simply makes that impossible. With no background play or picture-in-picture you must keep the app open if you want to enjoy the content. This is not how i consume critical role. Most of the time I’m listening to it as if it was a podcast, and checking in on the video every now and then. I simply cannot go about my day and listen and keep the app open at all times. The longer and longer it takes for the dev team to implement these features the more and more i consider canceling my subscription. Cause as much as i love the content, if i can’t consume it, there’s no real reason to pay for it.Show lessruby2d
A good app that can be better.
I appreciate that CR has created this content, and I think the concept is fantastic. The execution has been solid overall. However, I've noticed that the content isn't very picture-in-picture friendly on mobile devices, unlike on computers or select TVs that support this feature. I believe implementing this feature would significantly enhance the experience and improve my overall rating.Show lessChewLoma
