  • Unprofessional developer

Developer responded “Thank you for your feedback. Giving a one-star review because you couldn't find a [+] button is unusual.”

Let me clarify few things, it was 2 stars not 1. Seconds, reason why I couldn’t find + button is because interface is bad, it’s not easy flow. Developer tried to make it look good instead focusing on functionality. Look at Tagmo, not as good looking but everything is accessible and does everything this does, just better.

Word for developer, commenting on customers reasoning for rating is unusual. You should that it as input that your design is not easiest one to use instead of subtly insulting one! One star developer!

  • Not intuitive

I looked through video tutorial and read what it say in setting and I still can’t figure out what + sign I need to hold to import from file. Interface was made to look cute but it’s not user friendly. Regular version have + in top right corner but this one does not.
Edit: found it. In the middle of the page there is my collection, once opened there is a + sign there. Still not intuitive enough but I’ll add another star.

  • Ally, but more!

TL;DR, if you have “Amii-hardware”, Ally Pro is a good addition to that hardware. I bought Ally a number of years ago, to write to NFC Tags with my iOS device. It worked well, and was a great app experience overall. Now, Ally is back with more tools to manage tags. I have a Flask, which is primarily what drove me to get Ally Pro. The Bluuplabs app is “fine”, but isn’t that refined. It also lacks the ability to randomize the ID. I’ve tried to import an entire set of Tags and it hasn’t worked it the past. Ally Pro is a great app for managing data on my Flask. It took me just a couple minutes (most of which was me selecting the Tag files in iOS) to import 800+ tags from my phone. Now I have any Tag I could possibly want, able to be written to my Flask. I also appreciate the lack of a subscription and the fact that the app is full featured right at release. Definitely hope this app continues to stay around and I have zero regrets for my purchase.
