Love It, Have Feedback

Beam 2: The most gorgeous dash camera on the market. I think $10 a month is more than fair for live-streaming and remote viewing/all of the automated features (which have all been working great). My only ask is for a mass-delete option to be added to clear out the cache of old footage. Thank you!

Keeps on Crashing

I tried several times to connect my Nexar Beam2 and I'm at the point where the camera is ready to connect to my phone but the app keeps on closing. This needs to be rectified or I'm looking to buy a different brand of dashcam

Does the job

Works fine, but I wish I could ask Siri to make a video clip, and then have it clip the 30 seconds before my request.

No location services.

Onboarding went smooth enough but the device location hasn't updated since the initial setup on 12/1 (9 days ago.)

When I complete a drive, the location never changes and if I select a previous drive, I receive a message that says "The route is currently unavailable."

I can view the Timelapse recordings of my drives but if I select the live stream option (3 minutes) and then end the session, a few minutes later, I receive a notification that the camera is recording and it continues to record for hours.

This is on an iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 18.2, build 22C150.

Do not buy

Basically forced to pay the $11 subscription for anything to work (which it doesn’t anyways) can never connect to it remotely ever regardless of where the car is parked AND it records when it feels like it. Not a good dashcam at all if you’re trying to protect yourself from others…

Getting better with age

The initial app had its hiccups. Now, remote streaming works fine and finally there’s an option to locally stream. Seeing these enhancements overtime for my Nexar one pro have been great.

The only thing that would make this perfect is the ability to make the dashcam connect to my home wifi. That way videos that are needing to be cloud stored can load much faster.

Nexar One Pro Connect App

I have had my Nexar One Pro for over two years. Early on the app had some on and off issues but Support worked their way forward and keep improving the product experience. I just installed the new Connect app and WOW! Nailed it. Glitch free and easy to use and navigate.

Not bad needs an update

App is easy to navigate. Wish videos would get downloaded to your phone and not have to wait to get in car to download. Or have to be in car to watch videos. Currently asks you to push device button twice to connect every time. (Nexar one) if car were to get stolen, I would not be able to view footage unless I was connected to camera. Liked the old version when you could watch videos in real time not lapse.

Absolutely Ridiculous

I should’ve listened to these reviews. I got the Nexar One Pro. It was absolute garbage from taking almost a half hour to turn on after following the steps, to never connected again after the first time it connected flawlessly, etc. The camera never did what it said. It’s pretty much a gimmick. The app is very simple and straightforward and would be great if the device actually worked. Terrible waste of time. Shipped it right back.
