I was very excited to get this app at first. When I first got the app I had plenty of surveys and seemed to have worked fine. I was able to get my 5 and no issues cashing out my first $5 which only took me about 40 min to have reached my 5 mark. After my first cash out it then informed me of the half surveys which at first I didn’t think was that bad due to there were a bunch of them at lower time frames. Once I completed about 2 more surveys I am not getting booted out of every survery I try to take. I am now to the point where I don’t have many surveys to choose and all are about 30 to 41 min long and you NEVER qualify for. So not sure if I am ever going to progress any further to get another $5. Was great at first and now just a waist of time and very frustrating spending 15 min to find out they booted you out.

Got every one I clicked on. 4th took longer to find - like tried 8 or 10 before getting the 4th survey. I’m way over 10 now. Way over and can’t find one that I qualify for. Tried all the options and nothing.
While this isn’t a scam exactly it’s also not a decent way to do surveys. If I’ve already said that I’m retired why are you recommending surveys that require that you are working? It’s like the initial information you enter that’s supposed to screen you for the surveys you’d be qualified for is ignored and they just pick random surveys.
I’ll give it another three or four tries and if I don’t qualify by then it’s getting deleted. Time waster. Not a money maker.
4 stars because simply put you do get $5 for 5 surveys. I wish it was easier to complete them. You have to be willing to spend the time/energy to be accepted into a survey and then not be screened out. You can tell at times your info is collected, your opinion and effort, and then you are kicked out before completing for no apparent reason. That part is definitely a scam. I think it’s more so the websites fault rather than the app itself. Some surveys also don’t load or stop working halfway through, which is also frustrating. But usually it doesn’t take me more than 5-10 minutes to find a survey and I can usually get through them in 20 minutes or less. The app overall is easy to understand, and I’ll take my $5-20 a day no problem.
I thought it was by far the best survey app ever, and it was until I got to $35. You get .50 or $1 per survey and can cash out every $5 to PayPal or various gift cards. Now of course I’m stuck on $4 for weeks now and haven’t had one survey I can actually complete and I check multiple times a day. EUREKA is the best survey app that actually continues in the same manner, you can cash out every $5 to PayPal and various gift cards. Also every cash out you get an immediate $1.50 survey from eureka that’s like 1 min of them asking how to improve the app. You can watch ads for 1-3 cents all the time, occasionally download an app for 50 cents, as well many other tasks involving signing up for other apps.

It’s a very nice incentive to be able to get $5 for 5 surveys, instead of other sites you where you can get .06 cents for doing the same exact thing…..answering questions on a survey.
I wish I’d have found it sooner because I didn’t 17 surveys and cashed out $15 in like a week. Then I told my friend about it since she is always playing games and stuff to make money. Well then all of a sudden I go on and the surveys are longer, and harder definitely kicked me off a lot of them wcichb was a rarity before.

BUT , the only thing that I’m kind of a little mad about is that , after you already have 3 surveys done and only have 2 to go for your cash out , surveys become longer as 18 minutes survey 25,45 up to 50 minutes surveys and a lot of them (fail or unfortunate don’t qualify) 60 to 70% of the time .and sometimes there’s only like 1 to 3 surveys when only need 1 more surveys to cash out.
Now after cashout , than you start seen a bunch of surveys , but again ones you have 3 surveys complete,that’s when the challenge starts.
That’s my only complaint.
Hope this gets fixed.
So far I like it but I don’t love it.
This app says to finish 5 surveys and collect 5 bucks. That’s a lie because once you get into use the app, they throw in these half surveys which you gotta do 2 to equal 1. That’s definitely not what I signed up for. Some of the half surveys are just as long as the regular surveys, if of course you are lucky enough to get one that accepts you and allows you to complete it. I can’t see myself sitting here wasting my day away, giving away free answers and my time for the surveys to just kick me out. To me that’s stealing. I suggest a job if you have this much time to spend on trying to make 5 measly bucks. It would take forever just to complete 5 to 10 surveys on this app. I just have way too many important things to do than to be stuck on my phone all day desperately seeking 5 dollars. No thank you!

Now I’m essentially doing 10 surveys for 5 dollars however it still could be less. . . If I can make any “fine print” here it is (Fine Print) “5-10 minimum surveys for $5 redemption, terms apply. Still better than any other survey app. Cash out in seconds to your PayPal. . . And don’t forget if you get disqualified or spend 10 minutes and get disqualified, keep up the good work, it pays off excuse our stinginess on the lack of surveys when your close to reaching your goal, we’re still better than anyone else - The App Team” Despite my review this is one of my top 3 favorite survey apps I use!!

We're grateful for your feedback! It's great to know you're enjoying Five Surveys.Technically speaking, you MIGHT be able to earn $5 for free by just completing five surveys. But it’s more likely that you will start, maybe even do 90% of 50 surveys just to get the “$5 reward”. I put that in quotes because while the reward will show up in the app, the claim that you can instantly cash out is completely false. I spent probably four hours starting and getting filtered out of surveys before finally completing five, I had to close and restart the app every time I completed a survey for it to register on the counter at the top of the app that tracks your progress, but I did it! I earned the $5 reward. However, once I went to cash out, that reward disappeared into the abyss. Allegedly they send you an email to claim the reward (why you can’t just directly link your Venmo, PayPal, etc, is beyond me, but that isn’t an option) within five minutes, however I never received any email with the reward. I tried sending them an inquiry through the “ask a question” feature in the app, and I promptly got an email with a link for tracking my query. I didn’t get an actual response, help, or the reward. So overall, don’t waste your time, it’s a scam for free market research, you aren’t going to get paid.

Feel free to contact us at help@fivesurveys.com for any assistance.I’m going to be honest first this app isn’t perfect, your not going to always qualify for every survey as their looking for unique groups and people for each survey they have, but on the positive note I’ve had this app for little over a week and made almost $40 and that’s just me using it for time to time when I’m not busy imagine how much you could make if you just listening to some music maybe throw on a boring movie and just tackle the surveys, I work but I’m always looking for new ways to make money and I gotta say I’m impressed the only downside is getting canceled out of a survey and not even getting anything for it. But a $1 per survey you can’t beat it.
