Dumb
So much potential - too little functionality. I guess I expected more, even for a beta version. I shouldn’t be surprised from an app with some kitty (kiddy) icon. I tried to customize my photo to make an avatar…nope. I tried to make an original avatar that had almost ANY resemblance to me…got hipsters with flippy hair. I was told it didn’t understand the language.I did get an image that was passable of a beer glass and pretzel, but I can get those at almost any free AI sites. The app, in my opinion, is falling into the trap of assuming its users are incapable of free thinking and selecting scenes and characters for them - pablum. Very disappointed. Wake me when the app is less infantile.

The UI is way too painful
I was just trying to select photos from my library and the simple act of scrolling kept picking a photo. Deleting the ill chosen photo, the having to navigate back into my library and get to the where I was browsing was a serious pain. I would prefer that it jump back to where I was in the photo library. I also feel like there is an age bias in the rendering. The photos of my wife and I seemed to make us look older than our early 60’s that we are. My 30 something kids render images that looked younger.

Useless if it can’t update
Anytime you try to create anything. The app says that it needs to download additional information. And then it gets stuck in download mode and you can do absolutely nothing with the app. It has been this way stuck downloading for well over two weeks. I have deleted the app and re-added it in hopes of fixing this problem. It does nothing. If your products aren’t ready, don’t advertise them as though they are. You have people upgrading to your new phones when the technology is obviously not ready. What a waste.

Zero functionality, 2022 quality, insane bugs
This app is a joke, and it’s not hyperbole to say that every single employee involved with it in any way should be fired. The app refuses to create most images, even for the most benign prompts. My favorite thing is how many bugs there are, like how the app forces you to use portrait orientation, but errors pop up behind the dynamic island. That level of ineptness wouldn’t be acceptable on a two person start up, but an in-house team at Apple shipped an app where the only place an error can display is behind the dynamic island?! Every PO/PM involved with this travesty should have their employment terminated immediately.
Past the laughable quality of the app itself, the actual images it creates results are awful. Truly lagging behind 2022 midjourney results.

Disregard Low Rating, It’s Awesome
This app is a first step in the right direction towards a new era. It’s very powerful at making custom images. I’m giving it 5 stars because although its not perfect, i don’t know of any other app that does what it does it so well and for free. So, ignore the low rating. You give people fire and they’ll want the combustion engine. This is like the steam engine.

Perfect for Children
Do you have a young child that needs to be entertained for a few minutes? This app is exactly what you need! Take a photo of them, let them choose nouns, and then marvel at how the app adds that noun into the background. A horse? Yeah, it can poorly insert a horse. A hamburger? You betcha. In fact, the possible combinations of “your face looking straight ahead” and “something else in the periphery” is nearly limitless. You can generate bland and nearly identical images until the child eventually grows bored of this app (probably less time than it took to read this review).

Disappointing
I’m not sure what they were trying to achieve with this app. This is not the quality of application I would have thought Apple would have published.

Downloading support for image playground? Still downloading…..it works on the Mac tho
