Amazing Tool
Oh my goodness! This app was recommended to help organize my random thoughts so I could have better conversations.
## Experience
- Used it today to plan for a doctor's visit where a new diagnosis was going to be discussed.
- Took all my rambling thoughts and organized them into concise, modeled groups around specific topics.
## Outcome
- I feel like we will be able talk more intelligently about the situation; and,
- We will get answers that will make going forward easier.

Fits my brain like a glove
I absolutely love Cleft. It has been a game changer for me, allowing me to capture ideas and draft documents without losing my flow.
I use Cleft wherever I can and being able to sync with my Obsidian notes is truly 🤯

Great app - still need polish
I think it’s really really good. The one thing I cannot stand is with AirPods or with apple car play and you’re playing audio. Essentially it will turn on your microphone and shift the audio channel of the outputted media, but still play it, making it impossible to think/ramble at best and at worst become a part of the input of the app.

Amazing, simple, easy to use
It amazes me how great the transcription is with this app. It just works and it works very well. I use it everyday to dump my thoughts into and then copy over to other apps I use for journaling or tracking tasks. Highly recommend downloading.

Super sorry to hear this. We use local Whisper models for transcription and while it DOES say it supports Chinese, it appears it only supports specific types and even those, the support may not be great. We will look into offering a stand alone model for Chinese or upgrading our current model when better support is offered. - Justin
Must-have productivity hack
After reading strong reviews on The Verge (“ "You just talk, and the app turns your unordered thoughts into nicely formatted notes”) and on Lifehacker (“ Cleft’s best feature is its speed…great use of AI tools to make your life easier “), I had to try it and have not been disappointed. You can instruct it not to make AI enhancements.

Excellent productivity help
I’ve found this really helpful and I like that the free plan is good enough for the basic stuff I need, even if the paid packages do offer a lot more (I just don’t need them). The quality of transcription is excellent, apart from transliterated words from other languages of course, and the suggested formatting it gives me is very helpful. I usually want to edit to some degree its suggestions rather than accept them in full, but that’s easy enough.
Also does well in other languages (at least the one I use). I would like to be able to add my own words to a dictionary via a voice note that would then incorporate those, but that’s a minor thing.

Beautifully useful note taking
Cleft is an incredibly useful note taking app that gives perfect transcriptions of my voice notes but also elaborates them with AI.
Brilliant for anyone who needs to take notes on the go, our just prefer to verbalise their thoughts.
