Not what you may be looking for.
I have been using this app for couple days and all I have to say is that some things need to be changed. First off The ai is NOT accurate I recommend putting or tracking the calories on your own because ai doesn’t specifically look at what type of brand you’re using. And seasoning and all that good stuff. Second, this morning I couldn’t get into the app, I don’t know if it’s my phone problems or the app in general, Other apps are working and letting me in but not this one. Third, my plan was to lose weight, not maintain it. The app generates how active you are but your planned calorie take in increases for no reason. So this wouldn’t help with losing, you’re just maintaining it at this point. this app is straight up confusing and I don’t highly recommend it. If you’re 18 or over 18 I recommend using fitness pal or track the calories and macros on your own, it takes time. the price is fair but, not the ai. Never count on those things.🤷♀️

Duplication!
Whenever i want to add a food it’ll show up two of it. Please fix it. It’s so frustrating to remove the duplicated one
Scam artist
If I could give 0 stars I would. A friend told me to check out app and wish o had not! It offers a 3 day trial!!! But then when you go to exit it will offer a cheaper yearly subscription price!!! Warning! If you click on it you won’t get your 3 day trial and they just charge you right away!!! I wasn’t even able to test out the app before the purchase!! I was charged $24.99 for the year! I contacted Apple and they wouldn’t refund, I contacted the app and no reply! They are ignoring! Now I will contact bank and report them as fraud!!! Be careful! Trial is taken away once offer is given! Also all is inaccurate!!! Don’t waste your time!

Completely inaccurate
Inaccurate calories and macros. I’ve tried scanning the same thing twice in a row and it comes up completely different each time. I want a refund
ai scanning is not free but free referral code.
This app sucks. My referral code is UKTUBM. Fee free to use it.
I was hoping to try this app out
Waste of time , you cant use this app without buying an overpriced subscription.👎🏼
Not There Yet
I’ve been using Cal Ai for a while now, and it’s definitely a unique experience. The AI features are really interesting, but I’ve noticed that some of the scans aren’t always accurate, which can be frustrating. It would be great to have more time during the trial period to provide more detailed feedback—there’s definitely potential for improvement.
A feature I’d love to see added is an assistant coach within the app that could provide personalized tips and guidance. Also, creating community groups like on Fitbit would be awesome for motivation and interaction with other users. And I’m a big fan of gamification, so adding badges would make the experience even more engaging.
I’d be happy to provide more feedback and test new features over time—there’s a lot of potential here, and I’m excited to see where it goes!

Over-marketed with poor delivery
Great idea, shows how marketing makes a difference in uptake however poor delivery. App is very simple which is a plus however toooo simple - cannot edit time of entry for example. Missing so many important features for a macro tracker. I have been using tracking apps for years. Tried sooo many and was intrigued with the ability to take photos of my meal. I tested several meals, tracked in Cal AI, MacroFactor and My Fitness Pal for comparison. The reality is that a photo cannot accurately analyze amounts or types of food. For example - Dave’s bread at 60 kcal is thought to be bread that is much higher in calories, miracle noodles analyzed to be regular pasta. Sometimes it is accurate but less than 40%. Needs much much improvement.

CaI is very good
I hope I will use it for long term
Great idea, not ready
The idea for this app is amazing and would be great! If it worked. I used the free trial to test it and it was wrong every time by a large margin. It’s very convenient but I doubt you will make progress with this app better just counting it yourself until their AI actually works
