Awesome game but there are some bugs
I’ve never written a review for a game before and this game is too great not to review.
The game is awesome, very fun and very grindy. It’s also not easy! Hopefully the devs are going to add more content to the game such as weapons, game modes, pets, etc. the graphics are amazing and very smooth. I got my boyfriend to play this game and he has been playing nonstop!
The only thing is we cannot play online together for some reason so that really bums us out. We were really excited to play together too so developers Please fix this!!Excellent Game!
Most games I have tried attempt to draw you in and keep you through means of repetative gameplay, but this game is a constant source of entertainment, not to mention an interesting game concept. I also appreciate that this game comes as a new idea in a sea of cash grabs.Fun and unique style ruined by greed
I love the style of tower defense combined with rogue-like, which makes the game fun and wildly different depending on towers selected and play style. These aspects of the game are fun despite the game being a cash grab through pervasive microtransactions. For example, a new (in my opinion game breaking) hero has been added recently with a related free battle pass, with the reward for completing the battle pass is hero specific tokens to level up the new character. However, competing the battle pass requires you to level up the character. So the reward for completing it is the same as the requirement for completing it? The only way to get these tokens is through direct microtransactions or spending in-game currency on chests that have a 0.018% chance of dropping them. These microtransactions don’t even make sense in this game because (1) you aren’t really competing with anyone else and (2) there is no reward for advancing through the levels.Developer Response
It's great that you're enjoying the unique combination of tower defense and rogue-like elements in the game! The variability in play style based on tower selection definitely adds to the fun. However, it’s frustrating when a game you love is overshadowed by aggressive microtransactions. The situation with the new hero and the battle pass sounds particularly disheartening—rewarding players with the same thing they need to complete the pass feels like a catch-22, forcing players into microtransactions if they want to progress. The fact that these microtransactions exist in a non-competitive game with no real rewards for advancement makes them even more puzzling and disappointing. Hopefully, the developers will take feedback like this into account and make adjustments that allow players to enjoy the game without feeling pressured to spend. It would be a shame to see such a promising game lose players due to poorly implemented monetization.
