Changes • The minimum iOS version is now iOS 11. • From the Home screen, you can now use the pull-to-refresh gesture to trigger a sync. • The app now backups up its local database backup and will automatically restore the last backup for you if it detects any problems with the database. • When Light Blue automatically sets a shoot title for you, it now includes the shoot type in the name for all shoot types (e.g. “Jack & Jill’s portrait” for a shoot type called “Portraits”). • The "Sessions" list in the shoot detail view is now positioned above the "Shoot Type" and "Status" fields. • The contact status field is now hidden by default. • Renamed contact "websites" contact methods to "links" and changed the default labels to reflect current popular social media platforms. • Changed the contact "Maiden Name" field to "Previous Last Name". • Added a "Use contact's current details" button when the linked contact's details have changed in a sale, quote, purchase, or payment. • Added phone number and URL fields to appointments. • Added an optional field for recording who created a task. • The search fields in list views now include the notes field in their queries. • Added "Thank You URL" and"Submit Button Text" fields to forms. These are automatically copied from your form template when you publish a form from a shoot. • When you’re doing a mail-merge from a shoot, you can now pick out a contact with a specific role in a tag by using the format %ContactRole:RoleGoesHere:ContactTagName%. e.g. %ContactRole:Mother:ContactFirstName% would give you the first name of the first contact labelled as “Mother” on that shoot. • Added new mail-merge format options for date tags: you can append “Day”, “Month”, or “Year” to a tag to get the day of the month, month name, or year. e.g. %ShootStartDateMonth% would return “January” for a shoot that starts on 01/01/2021. • Added whole address versions of the “next appointment” mail-merge tags. e.g. %ShootNextAppointmentAddress%.

We've added a whole bunch of new features in this update: • Added support for Dark Mode. • Payment schedules allow you to easily break an invoice down into several smaller payments, helping you to make larger sales and get bookings more easily. You can add and edit instalments on Sale records via the app, as well as apply payment schedule templates that you've set up in our desktop app. • Automated payment reminders help you to get paid on time. • Quotes can now have a percentage booking fee applied to them instead of a fixed amount booking fee. • When you're creating a sale from a quote, the gross total of the sale that you're creating is displayed so that you can see how much each of the options will come to. • Contracts and forms can be sent to contacts who don't have their own email address, but belong to a group where the head of the group has an email address. • Added an option to display the contract booking fee product's description during online contract signing. • The app now displays the HTML version of emails sent via Light Blue, rather than the plain text version. • Tracking information is now displayed for emails sent via Light Blue's email servers. • Email addresses that have bounced, complained, or unsubscribed are now highlighted and you can't create emails to them unless you remove them from your suppression list. • Improved speed of loading sections that contain large numbers of records. • Shoot schedules now sort consistently with the desktop app when there are steps that share the same date and time. • Fixed a problem that prevented shoot custom text fields from displaying their label if the field type was set to "paragraph". • Company contacts should have their company name shown in lists, not their address company name. • Search fields no longer autocorrect what you type (which is handy when you're trying to type someone's name!).
