Game is fun, just needs a little work
I finally got my octopus to level 4 upgrades (purple) and wanted to know that in the next update that the 2 spiked tentacles could actually be used for attack/defense instead of just being static/for aesthetics. Also, it’d be great if there were other creatures that give off blue shells in the immediate area, as the level 4 upgrades are a huge grind to get in the black market. I’ve been playing this game for weeks and at first I loved it, however I finally unlocked the level five area and upgraded enough to be able to out swim sharks but upon logging back in I found that the sharks are now 3x faster than they were before, XP also takes forever to collect I’ve spent hours collecting XP only for the bar to barely move and I’m only on the level 5 area and now bc the sharks and other species in the level 5 area are now 3x tougher and faster it’s nearly impossible to level up quickly, and there are too many fish species that don’t give you any special items like shells or potions, also only being able to gain 10 red orbs from crabs ever few hours makes it hard to progress as well. This game has lots of potential but these problems honestly make me not wanna play.Show lessWubbyYum

With the new updates i feel like the game got harder for example i was level 3 stars octopus now im back at level 2 - i was level 6 and had access to level 6 area now its locked and finally fish don’t respawn as fast as they used to do before the update. Good game thomak07m

Has tons of potential, no pop up ads. Would be 5 star if they fixed a couple glitches like some creatures going through walls (scuba diver, submarine) and the health bars of enemies jumping back up way too fast too soon, and sometimes the tentacles not re-gripping a fish and instead just visually hanging on causing the health bar of the enemy to refill instead. I’ll change to five star when fixed. (Got further and there’s a weird visual glitch when consuming the lion fish. I can’t do the third octopus upgrade, I finished the submarine but there’s no reward or progress after, it’s fairly unfinished at this point)Show lessEarthwolf1992

Gameplay is good, I’m having trouble with my black market, the octopus upgraded to level 2 then I completed everything and it won’t upgrade to level 3, the value of how much the fish is worth has dropped as if I didn’t upgrade everything
I built the submarine and cannot use it

It’s a very good game don’t get me wrong but the upgrades that you get from the black market don’t stay on your character when you relog into the app also trying to upgrade your octopus takes a really long time if that happens because all the fish are basic levels again would still recommend the game because you could play it for hours and not get boredShow lessLoco20398

Gameplay is simple and fun. I’ve been playing since the games initial release and there were several gripes I had (Excessive ads, no customization, no real goals or mission structure) HOWEVER since then all of the small things I disliked have been fixed or removed completely. This game is a great time killer and definitely has some reward for game play that certainly justifies the fun grind of the gameplay. Being a lover of both the sea and Octopi, it’s a perfect fun time for me. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a simple and fun game to play.Show lessAj0303

I officially gotten all upgrades for the Octopus up to 2 star but for some reason I can’t go any further and I’m lvl 7 and I have all my upgrades and the sub parts are all together but can’t do anything with it. The black market upgrades get reset after closing the app and I can’t wait for the next level that looks like my octopus will turn purple. The submarine missions are working now and I can’t wait to see all the ways to get the keys.Helper the Game

My black market upgrades, specifically the “greedy” upgrade doesn’t stay the same. It still says I’ve bought the full upgrade but after leaving the game and coming back it has reverted to what it was before I purchased it. I do appreciate the new update that fixed a lot of the bugs but the black market bug still seems to be an issue. Great game though, very addicting.Show lessTannerwixon
