Great game!

I came from playing Raid. It’s hard to beat their artistry, game play, etc. This game is great but could improve. Navigation is difficult and understanding all of the currency is a bit tough. I mostly like that it’s story driven. A couple of the champs look cheesy. I’m sure their champ collection will grow too. Check out Skratch Gaming for help.

Absorbing play

The map movement and feel of this reminds me of “Dragonheir” coupled with the leveling mechanics of games like “Diablo.” The comparison is not negative. Another thing in its favor is that the screen isn’t as visually cluttered as something like “Raid” for example—which isn’t a bad game. And yes, “Arthur” has monetary offers but it isn’t a cash grab as so many games these days; it seems very f2p friendly. As a gamer since around 1992 I really enjoy the story, look, and feel of this game plus as a fan of turn based battle new iterations are always welcome (though it doesn’t have the tactical elements of a game like “XCom”—but show me a recent game which does). I gave “Arthur”four stars on my first day of play and now, two days in, I’m calling it a solid five. Good work folks! And special props to the Art Department.

Low effort, buggy, won’t even open

I put $30 in as good faith at the start for some launch summon bundles. Shame on me I guess. Game crashed, and now my phone just blinks when I try to open the app. Have reset the device, have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Considering a chargeback at this point as I have wasted money in a game that I can’t even access again. iPhone 16 Pro Max….

Very first event in the game requires non stop attention to get top rewards. First off you have to have the certain hero to beat the first challenge because the chance the beat the boss is very low without. The rewards for beating a stage are minimal compared to the 100k points you need just for the top 2 rewards from the shop. The stamina cost to participate is double or more what every other battle in the game costs. And good luck with the drop rates. Go broke going for the hero that has a 100% chance to beat the boss or hope the 10% chance will work. I’ve tried dozens of times and can’t beat it even being over leveled. Horrible design and only promotes spending to try and beat it which is what they want.

Great gameplay! Some kinks to iron out.

Fantastic graphics, easy to navigate, fun to play. Still new though and does crash occasionally but will likely get fixed as time progresses.

Skip Training

Game is fine. However, whoever implemented the tutorial needs to be fired. I don’t care if it is “intermediate” training.. on what planet is it ok to have a champ with self revive and then 100% dmg immunity in the in the TUTORIAL with a 20 turn limit? That needs to be changed asap. Good lord what a terrible oversight. Almost like no one play tested the game before release. No surprise.

Potential unfulfilled

Like in all gacha games, you hit a progression wall in KA:LR as well; however the wall is way too punishing in this game, and ruins the experience for anyone not willing to pay hundreds of dollars within the first week. It’s a shame too, because it’s a nice RAID clone that has potential to be a fun game.

Mediocre

Story isn’t particularly compelling. Gameplay is okay. Difficulty feels a bit too steep for the little amount of resources given to you. Nothing about this game is BAD necessarily, but nothing is good, either. Textbook definition of mid.

Major problem

King Arthur is a Christian legend yet the game focuses on “old gods” like Diana who was never even heard of in England. By not sticking to the legend they missed out on missions about the Grail, Galahad and all of the great story lines that went with it. Also focusing so many of the usable hero’s as monsters and enemies was a major mistake. The difference between dark and light could have been used better and there is no better legend for lists of characters but most of the Knights of the Round Table are absent.

Another master piece!

Netmarble knocks it out the park! Stunning visuals excellent gameplay and story telling is probably one of the best I’ve experienced in a long while. All the best to gem of a game long live the king Netmarble.
