I do not like how there is not a trending page on lp,very little videos, and that there are no more groups like Minecraft,Star Wars,speed champions, and more plz if you can fix these things

But still needs work overall it is good! Ok now I need to tell you something that is actually really bugging me. So yesterday morning I woke up and go on Lego Play ok and my notifications just randomly pop up so I just restart the app and they are still there so I gave up. and now today I spent 45 FRICKEN MINUTES!!! to try to go through all of my notifications BUT THEY ARE STILL THERE! Just on my screen and I can barely see anything and I try to make and post about which was really really really hard AND THEY REJECTED IT😭! And Lego this is not what we meant by fix the Notifications. Also sorry if I am being mean but I CAN NOT PLAY THE APP RIGHT NOW😭 YEAH YOU HEARD ME I CAN NOT PLAY THE APP! With all my Notifications in the way I can’t press things that I am normally able to press so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS! Also sorry for the bad review.

The UI is horrid -There are five main buttons. One goes to reskinned basic cheap games. One goes to a doom scroll UI. One is a small pointless homescreen. 3/5 buttons are pointless and the profile selection is a small button floating on the home page…why? The profile used to be the center and now it’s an after thought? -The amount of characters is severely limited on posts, it breaks older posts and ruins half the fun of posting for older more in-depth wanting users -Some buttons simply don’t work properly at all. Glitchy mess. -The main ‘stream’ is claustrophobic and a nightmare to scroll through compared to a more stretched out approach with the old trending page with stylized individual placement. Removing groups absolutely killed the remaining community The active user base was waning, yes, of course it was but this feels like a proper murder attempt to get rid of the severs completely. A cheap reboot to shave off the gone users that costs the heart of the app which leads me into -Removing groups killed the sense of community. Being able to open a certain group was joining in a community with people like minded or with similar Lego interests. You build Lego city MOCs? Group for you to post your own and see others! You have a ninjago fanart? Group for ninjago and art so people who enjoy both can see it! Then the trending tab brought it all together and made it feel like a whole community with sub groups. It felt connected. The lack of groups and instead a central catch all with tags just takes the life out of what made Lego life, Lego life. It killed the togetherness. -By offing the community and old app, it kills off the older more mature user base interest who were loyal to the original app due to the freedom of the community and instead replaced the freedom and connection with a random digital gimmick and an army of brainless tots with a phone shoved in their face with the app open because it’s says Lego so they can start doom scrolling early :| Such a disappointment. Nothing can be left alone anymore.

Is a great game, but I do have a couple of ideas:
1. Add the Lego fan clubs from Lego Life, that way, we can connect to different posts easier.
2. Add more Ninjago pieces so Ninjago fans can try recreating their favorite characters.

I would like to address every single criticism of the negative reviews: 1. Why compare LEGO Play to LEGO Life? Since LEGO Play literally replaced LEGO Life, it’s only fair that it be judged based on LEGO Life’s standards. 2. What about all of the games, LEGO Life didn’t have those. First of all, games aren’t really a necessary feature for something that’s supposed to be a social media. Second, the LEGO Play games are all just low quality ripoffs of other games. 3. Is LEGO Play really that bad? Really? Yes, it is, unless you enjoy playing low quality video game ripoffs. If you actually cared about posting on LEGO Play, you’d realize a legitimate problem: It’s literally impossible to get more than a few likes on LEGO Play. Most new LEGO Play users don’t understand that on LEGO Life you could actually get popular. On LEGO Life, I averaged 50 likes, on LEGO Play, I average 3. It’s kind of sad, because now kids will throw away their childhood trying to get popular on LEGO Play, and only 1 or 2 people will ever even know they existed. 4. What about real features, like drafts? Comparing LEGO Play’s benefits to LEGO Life’s benefits, LEGO Life outweighs LEGO Play by a lot. 5. Doesn’t LEGO just want what’s best for us? No, not at all. LEGO Play is literally a money grab. All LEGO cares about is whether or not kids are still spending their life savings on LEGO. 6. But won’t LEGO Play get better in the future? Yes, maybe it will. But fun fact: this isn’t the future. This is the present, and if you give LEGO Play positive reviews, LEGO is less likely to try and improve LEGO Play. Edit: I was considering bringing my review up to 2 stars, but since the recent update locked my screen sideways I’m keeping it at 1.
Edit 2: LEGO Play has had multiple updates, but all of them have either not changed the app or made the app worse.

I definently see improvement. It’s still a make in progress, but I see it.
Although, I’ve had a post in moderation for a month.

Anyways-
There is a feature I thought of that I would like to mention to add. If you have a ton of friends in ur friend list, if you want to tag them and they are at the bottom it takes forever to find them. If there was a way to “favorite” friends to where you can quickly find them would be great. I hate scrolling forever to find them.
Also when scrolling through the videos feed, the video is always paused and doesn’t automatically play. It’s annoying to have to click on every single short video.
If anything, the one thing I want back is a friends page. You click on it and see what your friends have posted lately. Nobody sees my posts anymore. Only the people who were popular and remembered still get even a few likes. And I know likes aren’t everything, but what is the point of posting if nobody sees it? I love seeing the positive comments and people being nice. But I don’t see it anymore.
Followers instead of friends?
There was this one user I remember that wasn’t allowed to friend people on LL. (Her parents said she couldn’t) Tehcnically, friending someone doesn’t do anything. You can’t privately chat or anything. But nonetheless she wasn’t allowed to friend people. So nobody saw her posts and she was forgotten. So I think folowers or something like that would help confused parents.
Overall, I don’t understand why a Lego app is needed. If it was for money purposes, then it doesn’t really make sense because Lego themself isn’t an app. It’s just so sad because so many wonderful people left when it was announced that LL was leaving. And now they’re gone forever.
The report button is a whole nother issue.
People randomly pick someone to target and report their stuff, usually it being art. But other times, I’ve seen horrible slurs, and people slipping curse words through mods. That is what needs attention. If there was a way for the AI to get better at recognizing bad stuff, that would be great. But only time will tell. And the report button is not to be abused. It’s there for a reason, to report things that need to be reported.
I sincerely hope that LP can be something great, and become a wholesome community like LL once was. I definitely see the vision. But it’s just not there right now.

I like LEGO so much better I used to have it and I didn’t have to login to post something and it’s making me login again even after I’m already logged in which really annoys me and it doesn’t even let me login sometimes and it doesn’t let me take pictures of my own objects and edit them which also makes me very mad I used to love LEGO life. Why did you have to do this?
