GIVE US BACK LL LEGO THIS APP IS NOT GOOD

EDIT: Lego. Listen. I know I’m a kid but… YOU COULD HAVE DONE SO MUCH BETTER! WHY do we have to have, of all things, a LEGO Insiders Club sub? Like saying “it’s kid friendly ✅ !” And then I try to post a picture and it’s like, “no never mind go get an insiders club subscription and THEN you can post pictures.” Total letdown, buzzkill, any thing you want to call it. I had high hopes downloading it (cuz of LL, good job with that one) and then it’s just NOT GOOD! Why did you stop LL?!? Bring back LL man, okay?!?? EDIT #2: Suggestions: 1. Make it so we don’t need to have a Lego insiders club sub to use pictures. 2. Bring back Lego life. 3. Simplify layout. 4. Make it more Lego-y instead of all that buncha drawings and stuff that looks like it’s more for the 3 year olds than the actual Lego-ers. Also, I agree with commanderfancifulennox100 please can we have LL back even if it’s just for a day or two! And I honestly kinda hate the app maybe just have both and bring back LL? (Sorry for bad review though, I love Lego and am obsessed with Ninjago love the series)

I can’t find out how to upload photos to the app. Other than that, the app is ok.

Hey, you should be able to upload images by clicking the plus on the bottom bar of the app, from there you can go to creative canvas where you can add/take a photo. If you are having trouble or need any more support, please reach out to LEGO.build/Service-Apple. - Todd, LEGO® Customer Service

Why did you replace LL with this buggy unfinished mess?

Ok so I’m kind of disappointed with the app itself, but to replace LL with it? Why would you get rid of a perfectly good app and replace it with a worse one? The app itself is not that bad it’s just very buggy, the reason I hate the app is because you replaced LL (with a large and active community) with it this unfinished mess that nobody likes. Very disappointed as you just got rid of my childhood, but I think there has to be some external factors at play. At a business point of view you would never think to ever delete an app that popular, so I think something happened and it was ether a

1. liability to have the app running
2. Risk for the kids on the app because there was a security issue (this is a extreme scenario)
3. They did not have the budget to continue it
Or,
4. Management saw it as a waste of resources.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but there was no big warning or reason to replace the app.

I’m not mad, just disappointed 😕.

LL and LP

So I know you probably have gotten a lot of these reviews. Overall I think Lego play has good potential, but I think everyone agrees that Lego life was better. Lego life had great features and we miss the old posting system. i know there is probably not a possible way to bring it back, but if there is a slight chance would be able to bring it back? People who have left Lego life left because of the new app. So if there is any way to have Lego life and Lego play at the same time please do. 🙏🏼 but if not it’s ok, and I know you are trying to improve it in any way. Thank you :)

Edit: also I forgot to add, people who have posted things in the past on Lego life have lost their posts I think, is there a way to bring them back because I had cool posts and they are gone, thank you thoug!

Good app !

It’s a really good game imo , I just can’t find out where to take photos and post them . If a developer could respond and tell me how , I’d be great full . Thanks !

We can help with that! Make sure you're signed in with a LEGO account and click on the + sign on the bottom menu. Then jump into Creative Canvas where you can draw, decorate and design. To take a photo, you'll want to select the camera icon and make sure the app has permission to do so. You can then take your shot and decorate it in the studio! Good, but one problem.

I tried to change my avatar but it was just locked on the loading screen showing three characters. Please fix this!!! 😥

Please bring Lego Life back

Look, Lego Play isn’t bad but the amount of memories everyone had on Lego Life was amazing and now so many good creators quit and its not the same anymore and I just wish we could go back everyone wants too and more people would actually download it again.
