Pretty Good, not Great
Seems to work very well when entering an area to mute, but never turns off when you leave.
I get the message on screen saying I'm leaving the designated area, but the phone remains muted until I re-start it.AnnSLNT

I have heard that you can not automatically control volume by location because apple does not allow it, but that is not true with this app! The app is very accurate and you can set the size of the perimeter of a location that triggers this app.Quinton marquez
Garbage
Be aware: this app requires access to your contacts for unknown reason. It will also not work in low power mode. And after all it just won't work, like it did on my device - it just won't mute most of the times. And when it does work and mutes - it ignores "Vibrate on Silent" system setting.Nickname@9437
Works great but ....
It doesn't look "cool"--and I don't care because it works just like I need it to. I consider this one of my "Top Ten" apps that I rely on. I haven't noticed any appreciable drop in battery usage that would make me want to delete the app...and I have about 15 locations entered. Get the app...you'll use it and like it.Show lessOKmat
Needs better edge detection
I use this app daily, but it has one especially annoying issue: You can find the edge of the mute area.
Usually with this kind of app, you should have grey area such that if your radius is 100m, then it should detect "Enter" at 75m and "Exit" at 125m.
It should not actually be 100m.... that should just be the center of the toggle area.
As it is, if I am unlucky enough to be waiting for my bus within about 10m of the area edge, every 2-5 seconds or so it rapidly switches between enter and exit. That's because GPS is inherently not *that* accurate. Very annoying.
Other option: don't accept a change more than once ever 1-5 minutes or so. Maybe do both.Show lessbgix1
Does not work correctly
I've had this app for over a year and at first I thought it was great, but then I started noticing my phone muting and unmuting sporadically, as if I was at one of my 'mute' locations. Sure enough when I go to edit a location the GPS co-ordinates are ALL for my home! When I try to edit them and enter an address in the search box a map will display correctly BUT IT WILL NOT LET YOU SELECT IT! Total fail!Show lessShrinkingMan
Reliable!
I rarely buy an app. Because of my work in radio, I needed a reliable and automatic system to mute my phone when enter the station and that brings the volume back when I leave. AutoMute is that app. I'm really glad I bought that one!cinemad
