Pibank offers the highest rate

Pibank a simple, straightforward, banking app that allows you to earn one of the highest rates on the market. This app has the basic needs for a high yield savings account. I have to admit the wire transfer made me feel indifferent, but after I figured I could add from my external account I was satisfied. This app is for the young tech savvy who likes to manage their finances on their mobile device is attracted to the technology offered at Pibank. It’s promising and they have many things to improve along the way. Nevertheless I feel secure because they hold all the licenses needed to operate in the US

APP IS EXTREMELY BUGGY!!!

Only APY is good other then that App is EXTREMELY BUGGY. Not able to link any bank accounts through plaid. Tried so many times throughout the day and no luck.

Best APY Not The Best App

At a great 5.5% APY for a no fee liquid savings account, Pibank currently has the highest in the country. Unfortunately, the app is not at the same level. My one suggestion is do not use any of the app transfer options. Simply take the routing and your Pibank account number and add it to your external bank as an ACH transfer account and initiate any transfers, in or out of Pibank, from your external bank. Everything works much more simply and efficiently that way. Maybe Pibank will improve their app at some point in the future, but it's not there yet.

Terrible

First review i’ve posted. This app is garbage. First they use wire transfers instead of ACH. I initiated a withdrawal several days ago and still haven’t received the transfer. When i asked how long transfers usually take they said 2-4 days which is significantly longer than most banks, which normally do same day transfers within a few hours or transfer the money the next day. Also the app itself has issues. Many times when i’ve opened the app it says there’s an issue and then i have to wait a little bit before the app actually allows me to look at my account. Just a minute ago i tried to send an inquiry and it said there was an error so i tried again, same thing. Did it one more time then closed the app, and now it says it sent all three inquiry’s, tried to delete two of them error, awesome.

App leaves a lot to be desired

This app leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve just recently downloaded and a couple things I’ve noticed right out of the gates:

I’ve tried multiple times to change the nickname of my account, it says that it confirms the change but then the change never actually sticks.

The app does not log out automatically when inactive for a bit of time, leaving it feeling not very secure.

The app just feels a little rickety - I’m not sure how to describe it other than that. But as a banking app dealing with personal finances I’d like this app to feel a lot more secure and tightened up.

Denied based off looks?

Pl Bank denied my application as my selfie was not sufficient enough for their "biometric system". I called and was given no help. I am a legal citizen and there should be no reason to be denied based off looks?

I would love to be contacted for things to be further explained.

Insane High Yield Savings

Simple app with not a lot of functionality, but the high yield savings account is unbeatable

10/10 service

I’ve had my savings account for a bit now, it’s pretty good. Good APY too 👍🏽Struggled making my account at first and called customer service, they were super super helpful and guideded me through the process. The app is fairly easy to use and i haven’t had a problem so far thankfully 🤞🏽

Great app overall. Easy to transfer money in and out. Customer service is very helpful too. Love to see my money at work.

Opened an account and app is super easy to use. Design is simple, friendly and let’s me transfer money in and out quickly. Customer service has been fantastic so far and have resolved all my questions/issues right away. 10/10 recommend.
