Not reliable and has paywall for most features
The bird feeder only worked once and then mysteriously stopped working. There is not troubleshooting provided by the company. Also, 90% of the functionality is locked behind a paywall, which is pretty ridiculous for a $200 bird-feeder that is just cheap plastic and a camera equivalent to a $40 tail cam.

Easy to set up and the pictures are absolutely wonderful. A must have for a bird enthusiast!
Feather snap
I just received this bird feeder as Christmas gift. It works really well. It took a few days for the birds to come. I can see the feeder anytime on my phone or IPad while I sitting inside the house. Pictures are clear and good. And you can download the picture if you want. There is also a live feed view, so you can watch and hear the birds. Very nice app. And feeder.

Love it!!! Would love to see an upgrade toโฆ
I adore my bird feeder. Iโd love to be able to add a snap to my bird book and return where I left off while going through my snaps for the day. I have about 400 to go through and after adding one to my bird book, it takes me all the way back to the top of my snaps. I also save videos based on snaps and it never includes the images in the snaps in the videos.

AI bird recognition
The bird AI is HORRIBLE ! Itโs way better on the Birdy feeder. That feeder recognize the bird for you, FeatherSnap does not. You have to go thru steps, then it gives you a list of birds to pick from. Come on FeatherSnap, get with it and update the AI

Nice but not worth another subscription
Really nice expensive $200 bird feeder, confused as to why itโs another subscription. Youโll get blurred photos and videos without it. Iโd likely not purchase again even though my friend helped develop the app. Pretty disappointed since theyโre touting AI to identify birds so Iโm confused as to who Iโm employing with a subscription. DONโT PURCHASE is my recommendation unfortunately, I really wanted to like this whole setup.

An important part of our home
Watching the birds was what I enjoyed the most, now I can watch them live with a camera while the birds are eating from the feeder, it constantly changes itself with solar energy and the feed chamber has an easy to open structure, which allows me to fill it easily when the feed is finished. My kids are favorites they want to look at photos of birds that come to the feeder everyday
